Description of Work: I'm very pleased with Accent Roofing. They were responsive, professional and prompt. Unlike a few other roofers who couldn't be bothered to even speak to me, or who blatantly told me they didn't want my repair job. Phillip is going above and beyond to fix a damaged chimney that has nonstandard parts.

Description of Work: While he was professional and came on time, he estimated a roof repair that at the end was not necessary after I had a second opinion from a different roofer. The leak, that was located in one of the bathrooms, didn't come from the roof. He would have replaced all the sewer pipe flashings when in fact they were intact! I would have hoped he had done a more thorough investigation instead of selling me something that wouldn't have fixed the problem.

Second opinions are a good idea PROVIDED that they permanently solve the problem at a lower price! Since it hasn't rained since you received your second opinion, only time will tell if a couple squirts of caulk will indeed do the trick! We didn't "sell" you anything, nor did we charge you a single penny. You were offered a proper and economical solution to the immediate problem and presented with several preventive measures to consider. Had we proceeded with the work and found that our diagnosis was flawed, we would have cheerfully honored our warranty, as we have done without fail for the past 30 years. In the unlikely event of an errant diagnosis your worst-case scenario would have been a full refund! We wish you a pleasant roofing experience and if it doesn't work out as you'd hoped, we'll stand by our proposal for up to two years. Thanks
