A Flo Free Septic

After a diagnosis and quote of $630 from Mr. Plumber on Friday, we called A-Flo Free Septic Friday evening and Mike offered to come out on Saturday at a much more reasonable cost than provided by other plumbers. In the interim, my husband removed the toilet and snaked the line. Plus, we poured several pots of hot water in the pipes. By the time Mike arrived on Saturday afternoon, the blockage had resolved itself. I was pleasantly surprised when Mike said he would not charge us anything for the visit if he didn't do any work. I believe that most plumbers would have charged a significant fee for just showing up on Saturday. Although the clog was no longer an issue, the bathroom was still torn apart, so we asked Mike to reset the toilet. We also asked him to look at another toilet in the house that was removed when we replaced some tile. He also looked at an issue with the water filtration faucet in the kitchen. Mike advised us about the parts required for the other repairs. After we pick up these items, we plan to call Mike to install them. We would definitely use him in the future.

The contractor never showed up and I moved on to someone else.

The work was done in a timely manner but with corrections being made, it was not done. The person did not answer emails, nor phone messages, and did not show up for appointments to correct spillage from septic tank which is creating a health hazard.

How could you make an effluent backup worse? Hire this company. We called them after we found effluent was backing up into our basement shower pan and toilet causing minor damage. This company was referred to us by another plumber so we felt comfortable. They quickly diagnosed the collapsed pipe and pumped the tank. They began working on the repair and everything seemed to be running smoothly. As they left they told us it was all clear and that we could get back to washing dishes, flushing toilets, showering and doing laundry. 6 hours later we found our basement mostly flooded with effluent and completely ruined. They hadn't properly done the job and no water was getting out of the house through the main line. It required a $20k renovation and remediation to repair the damage to our basement.
