Professional Movers and Storage

It did not go good. It was really horrible. They arrived 2 hours late. When they got there it took them about an hour to disassemble my canopy bed. I have a 3 bedroom apartment and from the time that they arrived at 11am by 4pm they were only finished with about 2 bedrooms. They didn't take my son's bed, they didn't take the headboard of my bed. They took alot of smoke breaks and kept going to the car. I kept looking for them and saw them sitting in the truck. It was really a horrible experience. I told them that for paying them $125.00 per hour that I was not paying for them doing nothing. My house was still full of stuff and they did not move quickly. They drove really slow and seemed ike they were moving slowly because they knew of the time constraints. It was raining but even when it stopped they kept taking breaks. When we got to the house I just told them to put the boxes in the garage because I didn't want to deal with them. One of the posts to my canapy was dropped by them and it cracked the entire base of the post. He then said he would puddy onit. I called my furniture company and they said do not puddy it it will shatter. So they offered to take $200.00 off my balance and I refused that. I do not think he is insured because I can't get any insurance information out of him.

Throughout the move they were sitting on my furniture and leaning on my walls.

The post is going to cost $600 and that doesn't include delivery. On top of all that it came up to over $700. I paid him the difference of that post and didn't include the delivery or the cost of what it would charge to put it together.

They arrived promptly and had everything loaded in very good time. They carefully wrapped an antique piece of furniture before loading it. It took a little long for them to get to the delivery location 140 miles or so away because they stopped for lunch. I can't blame them for that because they worked hard. When they arived at the delivery location they got right to work and unloaded everything quickly. They had to carry some heavy furniture up some steep stairs. I think they got tired toward the end because they just put about 8 or so boxes in the garage instead of in the proper rooms. I didn't have a big problem with this because they did help us figure out how to put our bed back together. I only had a couple of scratches on some furniture and one missing shelf from one of our book shelves. Not one item was broken. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again.
