Description of Work: I called several contractor to bid a remodel, while several showed up, Scott was the only one to bid and want to tackle the job. His knowledge of all areas of construction were excellent and he offered different options on which to do things. Description of Work: Complete renovation was done. Our house was transformed from a 2000 square foot ranch to a 4500 square foot European styled home with high ceilings and high-pitched roof. Some walls were removed, new walls were added, while some walls remained. Old low-pitched roof was completely removed, one half at a time, so that new trusses could be lifted onto the roof using a crane. First half of roof was completely covered before the other half could be done. It was amazing to watch. We attempted getting a few bids on this job prior to beginning, but each contractor tried to steer us away from our idea, and encouraged us to just buy a piece of land somewhere else and build a new home. They did not want to fool with such a big undertaking. We had our heart set on staying here. When Scott Lambeth came out to bid, we were glad to hear him say yes to the job. It was a lot of trouble, for the contractor and for us. We lived in the house the whole time. The before and after pictures tell the whole story. The construction process began with grading of the land around the house and demolition of what would be removed, including driveway, concrete pad, and decking. Then new foundation was dug to accommodate the larger floorplan. Concrete foundation and concrete pad for the new 3 car garage was poured. Lambeth Enterprises handled all this. They then framed all the addition. After that was the new roof line already described. Then work began on the inside. In some rooms, the entire floor had to be removed, revealing the dirt crawlspace beneath. Walls were removed, new walls were framed up. Our house looks completely different, yet part of the house is still mostly the same except for a higher ceiling, which is just exactly what we wanted.
