Warning! For those considering using Air Force Heating and Air, this was our horrible experience! On June 27, 2023 my wife and I arrived home to find our house was 84 degrees. Our home is only two years old, so I contacted the original air company that works with our builder. They confirmed everything should be under warranty but said they couldn’t get out to our house for at least 3 more days so they advised I contact other Carrier dealer as they too could honor the warranty. My search led me to Air Force Heating and Air of Lagrange. They said they would send a technician out early evening. Everyone was initially very pleasant. The Tech arrived and decided the Thermal expansion valve (TXV for short) was the problem. He believed it had a foreign body in it, which he said was likely due to improper brazing when it was installed. As I expected, he further explained, the new part would be under warranty, but we would be responsible for the labor cost. He said he would email me two options in the morning and I needed to sign and return before they could order the parts. I continued checking my email frequently throughout the next day. Finally at 4:50pm I called their office. I spoke with another pleasant lady who immediately. The parts arrived on July 5th. They came on the sixth to install. Tore the inside unit apart then discovered they had the wrong part. They did secure the correct part and arrived around 4pm. The weather didn’t look good so he didn’t think he’d finish that day. Earlier he told me it was a two man job. He arrived alone. When I questioned him as to where his helper was he didn’t know. We exchanged a few words and he walked off the job. I called his boss and he said they would get me on the schedule sometime or I could find someone else and hung up. Luckily I found an outstanding Service that was willing to help me out of a disaster. There is more to the story and can be found on Yelp/Next Door due to the length

The salesmen, Jerry was very personable. He listened to our wants and needs and based on open ended questions, sold us the best unit for us. He didn't oversell us something we didn't need. He made us aware at the time of the purchase that there was a rebate available and there was also a federsal tax credit that we could take advantage of. The follow up on the installation was excellent. The installation process itself was superior workmanship especially compared to the original unit that was put in when the house was built. The onsite cleanliness was excellent. There was no debri or parts left behind in the inside or outside of the house. I would not hesitate at all to refer this compnay to anyobody that is looking for a new system or a repair on an existing system.
