ACE AIR was founded by Vinson Griffin. For over a decade, we have provided homeowners and contractors in the West Central Georgia area with the proper heating and cooling installation and service to meet their specific needs. At ACE, word of mouth advertising and recommendations mean everything to us. We employ highly trained Comfort Advisers and Comfort Technicians whose goal is to make ACE AIR the best service company in the West Central Georgia area. We are licensed by the State of Georgia as a Conditioned Air Contractor, Class 1.

The system delivered was not what I was told I was getting. I was sold a "packaged" system and received a "split" system. Both would apparently work in my application, but I was not consulted before the switch was made. In addition, I was told that the return air box would be replaced as part of the package and it was not. No credit offered for work not performed or for the switch between systems. Better communication in advance of unilateral decisions would have made a huge difference in my assessment of this company.

the technician was very personable and professonial. also he gave me a lot of free valuble information on how to keep my system cleaned and running good.he also noticed my children love monster trucks and told me he would get me pit passes for my children when monster jam comes to Atl. I would highly recommend these guys again!

We recently purchased this house. With all the cold weather happening, the outside heat pump was making funny noises, especially when it turn off. Not having had a unit this big before, I was concerned about the squeeks. I called them and the technician Chris called me back within an hour and was there 30 minutes later. He gave my furnace a quick look and then looked at the heat pump. The noises it makes are normal for that type of unit. The furnace is okay. Needed a little bit of freon, which he topped off. Signed up for the maintenance agreement ($150). Chris was very professional and my peace of mind is much better.

My experience with Ace Air from start to finish was a positive one. Although my issue was not an emergency, a worker came within a few hours of my call. He was very friendly as well as skilled at his work. It only took about 30-45 min. to repair my broken thermostat.
Description of Work: Diagnosed the source of the problem--our thermostat had stopped working completely. Once he located the source he replaced the disconnect box and got the thermostat working again. He also answered my questions and helped me understand how the system works.

Description of Work: We have a one year maintenance contract for our furnaces (2) and our A/C (2). This September the Ace Air technician inspected and ran our furnaces to check for results. We have been running the furnaces since September and they are performing well. The annual cost for the maintenance agreement is $180 for the Spring and Fall inspections and the cost of the filters.

Ace Air is reliable and honest. Vinson is the most skilled technician I have ever worked with, with a wide variety of equipment. Over the last 3 years, they have installed 3 heating and air units in older buildings and are maintaining all heating and air and cooking equipment at three locations in downtown Greenville, GA. Vinson knows how to work with older historic structures to properly size units for conditions in older buildings.
Description of Work: Performed semi-annual maintenance on 5 heating and air units, 2 commercial refrigeration units and all of the gas cooking and refrigerated storage units in a restaurant.

Description of Work: So the tech came out and tested the units pressure without removing the lid to check over the entire unit for other issues. He determined the condenser coils needed replacing and that would run approx $700. 2 wks went by and I finally had to call them to find out where we were in this process. They finally came out began working. The tech brought a second guy to help him move the unit away from the wall. After an hour of work they tried to start the unit to their surprise the compressor was gone too. More money out of my pocket they went to order it and another week went by. My wife got on the phone and spoke with the owner explaining our dissatisfaction and understand that he is running a buisness but we want this done and fixed with some compensation. He agreed to doing it at cost and would help us with payments. Everything was finally completed and we will not be going back.

Regretfully, as much as we try, we sometimes fall short of the mark of meeting our customer’s expectations. We strive for timely and complete repair on the first visit. Sometimes in our line of work it is necessary to order specialized parts to get each unit working to manufacturer’s specifications. And sometimes the specialized part is not found within our local area. We understand that communication between Ace Air and our customers is a very important part of the working relationship, and we value our customers and the faith they put in us daily. We agree with the reviewer that two weeks without communication from us is unreasonable and am glad that it was brought to our attention so that we can correct an error. We believe that the situation described in this review is not typical of our customer service and when brought to our attention, we did everything in our power to correct customer’s issues and complaints. At ACE, word of mouth advertising and recommendations mean everything to us. That is why customer absolute satisfaction is our primary goal.

Just before Christmas 2014, our 25 year-old Heating and Air unit went out. It was the coldest week of winter so far and we needed help. We have had good service in the past from ACE AIR and Vince came out and gave us an estimate for replacement of our antique heat pump. The unit was ordered immediately but took a few days to get all the parts from the distributor. We were using electric room heaters to survive and we were so happy when they drove up with everything they needed to warm our home back up. The men worked very efficiently, even in the bitter cold, and we had heat before the day was through. We know the new system will be great because it comes with a 10 year parts and compressor warranty. Ace Air saved us!

ACE Air is the best in the business. My tech , Cody, was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. I purchased a mainetenance aggreement with ACE on my previous home and they were able to transfer the agreement to my new home with no problems or complaints. Cody came out and did all the routine services on a rather old unit but it was great!. I have referred them to all my family and friends.
