1st Class Flooring

The project went extremely well. The contractor arrived to begin work on the date agreed to and the work went along on the schedule he explained in advance. They advertised their work as creating a minimum amount of dust, and I was surprised that so little dust was created. They laid the new flooring in a room that was out of square, but handled that problem with ease. The final results were a beautiful floor completed in 5 days. They were on time every day and had no interruptions in the work on my home. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of hardwood flooring work.

Called up Anthony based on his reviews and we chatted about scheduling a time to come out. He came out assessed the damage and explained what needed to be done. He and his crew arrived when he said they would. He worked with the crew the whole time. The work was done efficiently, he kept me up to speed with where things where and what was next. There were no surprises and he did some minor work that wasn't part of the original agreement at no additional cost. The cost was exactly as his original estimate.

1st class flooring did a great job. They had up front pricing, and they were very honest with their pricing. Tony and his crew said they would be at my house on a Monday at 9 am, and they arrived on that Monday at 9 am. They were extremely professional and courteous. Their work was fantastic. You could tell they took pride in their work. They estimated 3 days work and it only took them 2. They were quick to answer any questions I had and I never felt like I was bothering them. I would highly recommend 1st Class Flooring for anyone.

Tony and his crew were great to work with. Very down to earth and easy to deal with. Very attentive to minute details and listens to concerns and/or answers questions. Everything was done well and promptly. They clean up after themselves each day and work steady sometimes without even a lunch break. Seems very knowledgeable about his craft. We had some problems with the way in which our stairs were built but Tony figured out how to install our treads and risers. This was not an easy job for them. I would call Tony the Michelangelo of flooring. The quality of work is fantastic.

I'm so thankful I found 1st Class Flooring; Tony and crew were true professionals and craftsmen throughout this project. This was a true dustless operation, and they left the work area clean each day---never a mess. They did an absolutely beautiful job! Service and results beyond my expectations....worth every penny.

I absolutely loved working with 1st class flooring!! they came highly recommended and I can see why. After pulling up our terrible laminate in the kitchen, we found that we had half a hardwood floor!!! Tony and the guys came over and weaved in the new flooring and sanded and refinished the existing floors! The end product is absolutely beautiful!! He even was kind of enough to come and recheck the floor after my dog escaped her room while they were drying (luckily it was okay). The dustless system and stain used was amazing, we never had to stay a night away from our house. If your looking for someone that is nice, professional, reasonably priced to do your floor, they are your guys!!! You won't be disappointed.

Tony and crew did an EXCELLENT job on a difficult project! He went way beyond expectations to find a solution to refinishing our soft pine flooring....came up with a new process that resulted in a great finish. He and his crew always were on time and stayed until it was perfect. Thanks Tony!

Tony and his crew at 1st Class Flooring were great! I have been remodeling in Chickamauga for a couple years, so I have had my share of experiences. By far 1st Class Flooring was my best experience! I asked for a quote and within a matter of days I had beautiful refinished oak & maple floors. The price I paid was fair and well worth the finished product. I was very impressed with the timeframe for completing the project. I had a quote and refinished floors within a couple weeks! I would highly recommend Tony and 1st Class Flooring to anyone.

Tony and his crew did an excellent job on my floor repairs and floor refinishing. Tony provided just what I was looking for - a new approach to floor refinishing. He uses a water based finish and there was very little odor and quick drying time. This was a plus! Tony takes great pride in his work and tries to get everything just perfect. I appreciate that attention to detail. He was patient with all my questions and gave me a good idea of what to expect. Finally, he gave me clear instructions on how to care for my new floor. I am very pleased with the results.

Tony and his workers were wonderful! Very professional, prompt and did an excellent job. My new home was built in the 1890s and still had the original floors. Then the job had complications and he offered suggestions and worked with me to fix the problems. His genuine personalty helped me as a first time home owner feel comfortable and confident in my decisions. Tony was great. After looking at the floor he recommended replacement. as we are looking to sell we have decided to just carpet instead because of cost. We really appreciate Tony's honesty when looking at our project. Based on this if I was to ever need flooring I would definitely call and use his company

It was a very efficient process. The huge buckets of dust were collected by their machine and not released in my house. They were very professional and trustworthy. I felt comfortable leaving them at home when I had to leave. The floors look amazing. They know what they are doing and were very detailed. They took pride in their work. The trim they replaced along the floor is thicker and better quality than I originally had. They had to replace part of a rotten floor and you can't tell where the old stops and the new starts. They called back right away to give me a visit and an estimate. I highly recommend this company!!

These guys far exceeded my expectations. Moving into a older family home that has been used as a rental for 5 years. I needed flooring replaced before moving in. When I called Anthony he shared that he was booked up until September. I shared with him my needs and he had Jeremy come out on a Sunday to install the flooring. His quote was dead on without even seeing the work that needed to be done. Jeremy was hardworking and very knowledgeable. If you need flooring, these guys are the way to go. Several years ago we had some existing hardwood floors refinished by another company (which I did NOT find through Angie?s List) and the results were not that great. When we decided to replace carpeting with hardwood in two other rooms, I was much more wary and wanted to get a company that I truly felt would do a good job. Based on all the outstanding reviews on Angie?s List and the knowledge and professionalism Tony, the owner, showed during the initial consultation, we chose 1st Class Flooring. The work we had done from 1st Class Flooring included carpet removal, application of Kilz to block cat urine odor, baseboard installation and installation and finishing of hardwood flooring and threshold transitions. Some unexpected situations arose concerning differing flooring levels in adjoining rooms but they guided us through the process of deciding what to do. And they we?re not lying when they said that their system was virtually dustless and that there was very minimal odor from the water based finish that they used. There was a night and day difference between them and the company we used previously. Tony was present during all the work and he and the other team members, Ross and Jeremy, were polite, diligent and professional. Great work, great people. We are very, very happy with the results and they will be our go-to company for flooring in the future.

Tony and the whole team at 1st Class Flooring were so professional and hard working. Tony guided us through the entire process but also left it up to us to decide how we wanted our floors to look. He was great about showing us all the different options. The dustless sander was great as we were able to bring our 2 month old baby into the house. They completely transformed the old, peeling floors of our 80-year old house to ones that are beautiful and kept the charm and integrity of the original floors. They were very easy to work with and easy to get in touch with. We would definitely recommend them!

We chose 1st Class Flooring based on all the fantastic reviews. Tony and his crew are experienced, knowledgable, talented, professional and work very well as a team. We just moved into this home and along with it was very unsightly red tinted stained wood floors in kitchen and dining room. There was a problem also after they took up the carpet in living room as the floor had settled making it uneven. Tony solved It. We had decided on red oak wood with a natural stain for kitchen, dining, living room and hallway. They used a matte finish for final coat. This team worked hard and consistent for 3.5 days. The results are natural and beautiful floors. Tony is truly an artist and has a passion for his work. Yes we will hire them again

Tony and his crew took old hardwood floors and made them beautiful. Three days of hard work and expertise provided a quality job. During their break time they also volunteered to help me with projects I was involved in, as I was working to get my house on the market to sell. They deserve an A+ rating and I would recommend Tony's 1st Class Flooring to everyone needing flooring work done.

The name of this company should be Best In Class because that is exactly what they are. The team worked like a well-oiled machine with each person doing his part. These guys knew what we wanted before we did. They had great suggestions regarding wood type as well as stain choices and they reallly knew what they were talking about. They were very tidy as they worked, showed up on time and checked with us throughout the project to ensure we were happy. We will recommend 1st Class Flooring to all of our friends and family.

Very well. They were punctual, and did an excellent job with the floor. They knew what they were doing and the product reflected that. I will definitely use them again.

We chose 1st Class floors based on other Angie's list reviews. Everything which everyone else raved about is true--- Tony responds to his phone calls within a reasonable amount of time, if not immediately. He demonstrated stain colors that would go best with our decor. Our old hardwood floors which were refinished looks as fantastic as the new flooring which was installed. Cost wise, since they use a water based stain and finish, plus the dustless sanding system, we were able to move upstairs (our first floor had the work done). We could be back in our house in the early evening, able to walk in sock feet on the floors and not incur the cost of staying at a hotel. We were considering having our upstairs re-carpeted, but now we have changed our minds and are waiting for 1st Class Floors to schedule us to install new hardwood floors. Tony and his entire team are a joy to work with.

When we called Tony for a quote. He was already in the area and came by immediately after finishing his other job. When he came, he started by asking what we wanted, he then thoroughly discussed the options we had and made some great recommendations. We felt comfortable with his recommendations because it was clear he knew what he was doing. HIs price was competitive even though they were going to be using the state of the art dust removing equipment. He took care of having the wood delivered to our house and it was right on time with no hassle for us. When it was time to ins They arrive on time to install, his team arrived on time and worked until that days tasks were done, which was always around 4:30-5 so it did not affect our evening routine. Tony was always willing to stop during the work to answer our questions and he even to demonstrate what the stain was going to look like. When he finished the work, he gave us thorough instructions on care and cleaning. I am sure I will be calling him again when we are ready to do the top floor.

The whole process went great. From the friendly service to the punctuality to the quality of the workmanship. Tony and his crew are very professional, friendly and above all master craftsmen. We would definitely have Tony and his crew back. Actually when we redo the kitchen Tony is already slated to do the work in the kitchen living room and dining room as well as our porch. Anthony, was very professional and honest about my questions regarding wood floor cleaning. He walked me through the process of trying to buy and clean the floor myself because the 1 time cost to buy the equipment and supplies would be cheaper than his work for a 1time cleaning. Very impressed with this customer service. If we need work in the future I will be sure to contact him.
