I had an emergency ac problem on the hottest day of the year (I think it set an all time high at 106) and I had a party in the evening with 60 people expected. I called Robinson and they saved the day. When I mentioned that I had a party starting soon, Robinson sent Scott over in just a few hours. He arrived on schedule and quickly diagnosed my unit. It was low on freon. Scott recharged the unit and checked the unit for any other problems. He got me back up and running in enough time to cool down the house before my guests arrived. Robinson saved the day!
Description of Work: Scott from Robinson diagnosed my ac unit, recharged it with freon, and looked for possible leaks.

I spoke with the VP of the company the week before they came out to give me an estimate. She indicated that she could give me an estimate based on what I told her over the phone. I waited several days for her to email the estimate and she never sent it. I called back and spoke with the Executive Assistant and she suggested that I have someone come out. I made an appointment for 5/24/2011. The technician was extremely late when he arrived. I kept calling to see if he was still coming and where he was located and I was finally able to get in touch with someone. The technician told me that the Executive Assistant would call me the next day with an estimate. I waited a few days and didn't receive anything. I called them, I sent an email via the company website, and I left a message on their voicemail. As of now, I have not received a reply at all. I never received an estimate. It will be 3 weeks on 6/14/2011 and still no response and no estimate. I feel like that is very unprofessional to do business in that manner.
Description of Work: A technician came to my home to give me an estimate for installing a heat pump in my basement. I never received the estimate.

They really didn't do anything. I think that they were plain crooks. My neighbors told me there was a switch in the attic that was off and he didn't even know about that. I think that they were not thorough and were just trying to dodge a small problem that could have been fixed by trying to get a sale.
Description of Work: They sprayed water into the compressor outside our home and went in the attic to look around a little bit. We had called them because we were having a problem with our air conditioning unit.
