Paint Etc

They did a fantastic job and it looks terrific. We had a couple of issues that they were very responsive too. There was some disappointment however. The kitchen table was damaged significantly in the process which the painters had to know occurred but he/they didn't notify the project manager. Upon our discovery, it was left to us to determine how it occurred. Not sure if that meant that questioning the painters brought denial or if they weren't consulted. It is for this reason that we give them a 'B', otherwise the job was excellent. Also called Areli to consult on an issue that popped up after the job was done and he was very quick to respond and offer a solution.

We could not be happier with the result. Such a super job by Mario, Hilmer's crew and Cathy of Paint Etc. The project was done during late Autumn, so shortened days and challenging weather. Despite that, Paint Etc came through for us and did an outstanding job. The quote was detailed and costs very reasonable. From the first meeting for a quote, to the last, they were professional, supportive and plain nice to work with. Mario was very supportive and helped us enormously, not only managing the project throughout, but helped with color options and what would work. Without that support, we would not have achieved such a super result. Hilmer and his crew worked with us on color alternatives, worked very hard, took pride in their work and were a pleasure to have working on our home. Quality work, professional, reasonable cost, great communication and nice to work with. It doesn't get any better than Paint Etc. We will be using them for future projects.

Mario is very nice and responsive. He listened to us about what we want/need, and gave us a very detailed estimate that describes all the work and materials included. We got a few bids and decides to hire them based on their estimate and good online reviews. They did a good job in painting the whole house (it's a big house!) and rebuilding our porch railings. Everything was done with care and finished promptly. We are very happy with them and will use them again!

Paint, Etc. is one of only two companies that I allow into my house after a bad experience with another contractor. They are easily one of the best run companies I have ever dealt with in my life. On time, fair pricing, and courteous beyond belief. They are the best.

We were very pleased with the work done by Paint Etc. Great customer service from both Dieter and Katherine; they returned emails extremely quickly. They put up with our many emails and remained very friendly during the entire time. When Dieter came out to give us an estimate, he caught things in need of repair (both major and minor)-- things we never noticed. In addition to the repairs, the entire house (including the foyer) and deck were painted. The painters did an excellent job and left everything spotless when they finished. They use high quality materials and paint. All of the repairs and painting were completed in just three days. We are having Paint Etc. come out and give us a couple of estimates for things we would like to do in the near future. I would definitely highly recommend them for your home projects!

Great experience all around. I was shopping for a quality job and not just price and felt I got a very fair deal and a very high quality product. Excellent customer service from Dieter and Cathy - they are prompt at responding to use technology to communicate. The assigned crew with Tito as foreman was both friendly and professional (we requested them as they had previously done a very nice interior job for us).

Called Paint Etc. to get a quote on my painting project. Areli Soto arrived at a convenient time for me and was very professional and easy to work with. He carefully checked all the rooms I wanted painted and asked questions about my desires and made recommendations. Received a fair quote via email within 24 hours. Once I accepted the quote, the crew was able to start the project within a matter of days. They arrived on time and quickly began the job. Areli was with them to get started and answer any questions I had. The crew was very careful working around the house and did a great job moving furniture (including a piano) and covering furniture. The job took a couple of days and Areli came back out at the end of each day and at the end of the project. We did a walk through to make sure the job was to my satisfaction. He also pointed out to the crew a few minor details that they had missed. It was a great experience and I will be using Paint Etc. for my future painting projects.

Very good with planning, communication and professionalism from start to finish. I would use them again especially for bathroom work and remodeling.

Not sure what happened but we never heard back from him. We were a little surprised since he seemed like an upfront individual.

I hired Paint Etc. to complete a remodeling job at my home. The job involved converting a formal living room into a bedroom by closing off an arched entry-way with French Doors. The company works were great and extremely professional! Mr. Hilmer and Mr. Angel are very talented painters/carpenters and I highly recommend that Paint Etc. continues to use them on future projects! Mario was very professional as well, making sure that any concerns that I had were properly addressed and I was happy with the work being completed. The workers cleaned up after themselves and the whole process from start to finish was seamless and hassle free, which is a plus! I highly recommend Paint Etc. to any homeowner that needs remodeling and painting done!

My wife and I are very pleased with the outcome of their work. The biggest concern with the job was our dining room wallpaper. It was 27 years old and we had no idea how it would come off the walls. The crew was able to remove the wall paper in both rooms and repair the walls (via skimming). My wife is very picky and admittedly, provided additional feedback after the first go around by crew. I'm sure most contractors would find her attention to detail annoying, but the crew was very responsive to my wife's input and put additional time into skimming the walls. As a result, the dining room walls are in better condition than many of our walls that were never wallpapered. The crew worked hard the entire day and was obviosuly very focused on the job. My wife felt very comfortable with them in the house and sees Paint Etc. as our go to company for painting and drywall work. We will also approach them about other types of services for future projects.

Paint Etc. was very easy and professional to work with. I requested a quote online and was quickly contacted to schedule an inspection. Dieter Fiek the owner came out and asked the right type of probing questions about what we wanted done, took notes and then discussed the in detail the products that they used and the way they estimated and schedule projects. A quote was furnished electronically within 24 hours. It was complete and detailed, with all materials and performance items (e.g. two coats of paint on all walls) clearly spelled out. A copy of current insurance coverage and a reference sheet were also provided. Since they were recommeded by a neighbor we trust and had good Kudzu reviews, we did not do further reference checking. I wanted a quality job done properly and clearly let Dieter know up front that I was a picky customer. I felt the quote that was provided was very fair. I based this judgement on the anticipated number of hours, number of men involved, material, and figuring in an appropropriate amount of OH and profit. Remember that you get what you pay for - you can't demand top notch work if you only want to pay for cheap work. The crew that did the work was very professional and took great care to protect our home and furnishings. The foreman Tito was vey easy to work with, and he and his whole crew should be complimented for the quality of the job. Due to the trim work and drywall prep taking longer than anticipated, the actual paint work did get stretched into an additional day. I was very pleased that the paint crew DID NOT cut any corners to speed up the job. It was obvious that doing a good job was the most important thing. Payment was invoiced after the job was complete, and it was exactly what we had been quoted. Our home looks great and we were very satisfied with the entire process. We would use Paint Etc. again for similar work without hesitation.

The crew members came on friday as scheduled and ontime and the head painter knocked on the door and introduced him self and they got right to work.On the first day the work on the outside of the house.They pressure washed the house and there were siding/boards that were not mention before and now noticable of needing repair. Otto notified me immediately and how they will go about it. I got a called from Cathy from the office and to let me know the cost. I was already breaking by budget, BUT they were more concerned about my house looking good and properly taken care of and they put that concern of mine to ease with a proposal they offered me which fit my budget. The crew worked from 8:30 that morning until a bit after 7 before 8pm. Through out the day my AC went out and it was HOT (August summer heat!). The main painter noticed to change in the sound and asked me if the air was on inside. We realized it was not working. Otto the Project Manager returned onsite immediatley and they told me it will be resolved don't worry. They went and bought a part from home depot but it still wasnt working. They all tried several different things. It was getting late and cooler, but they more concerned about getting it fixed than I was thanfully. Otto called his HVAC guys out, and they stayed and fixed it in the dark, 2 flashlight around 9: 30 pm. WOW!!! Dedication to their customers.Buy the end of the day, most if not all the boards where replaced by such a hard working team. Saturday the crew came back to the house around 7 or 8 am. It was very early. I was still sleeping, but No complaints because they want to get the job done and there was a possibility it would've rained.So, Today was the finishing up and the painting of the house. Also, I had the Electrician whom came as scheduled (10-11 enough time to sleep in) to do work in the Kitchen. They replaced my florecent light with 4 dimmers and a dimmer switch along with 3 pendant lights. They kept asking if this is where I wanted the pendants how high/low. They wanted your every input so you can be satisfied. The inside and outside crew worked with minimal noise and breaks. I could not be more please with their service. They were very attentive to my needs and budget and their work details. Their communciation from Cathy in the office to Otto the project manager was immpecable. I am very thankful to have choosen this company for service to my house and will continue to work with them. My kids and I LOVE the updated kitchen lights and our house looks brand new. I got more than what I paid for!!!
