Hector stood out from the other Contractors during the initial estimate. Hector took more time paid attention to detail, he was much more meticulous. Roberto (Hectors brother) supervised all phases of the operation. It was an extensive job, especially as the team prior to Hector's team (the water mitigation team) used a sawzall to cut the sheetrock an left a jagged mess. Hector's team did a great job, Roberto was very personable. Their bottom line as advertised was customer satisfaction. Job turned out excellent, all spaces (three rooms + stucco on front outside wall) shoe molding. quarter round, painting and the tile looks great. I would highly recommend Hector's company for all jobs.

Hector and his were very professional and easy to work with. When I had a concern they addressed it immediately.

The whole thing went very well. First, came an appraiser who gave me an estimate. He was very thorough. I asked him f my soffits had to be replaced and he told me that although there was a little rot they were still in pretty good condition; some one else maybe would have told me that they had to be replaced just to get the price up. I took them about 5 hours to complete the work. They did a good job.

Hector did a great job. He explained everything in advance and was available throughout the whole process. It was great experience and I will use them again for any and all projects, carpentry and painting.

Hector quickly/professionally provided an estimate and found several problems other companies failed to identify. His crew was on time and returned after everything was done to make sure things were done to our expectations.

They were punctual in all aspects from estimate to final walk thru. It took several trips due to weather conditions but I was contacted each day by 9am statusing me on arrival time. The painters were professional and efficient. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have the exterior of the home painted.

On the intial cleaning prior to paint, they pointed out areas that needed to be replaced or repaired with the aid of photos. They promptly explained the situation and provided pricing. The price was fair. The work was done on time and both the exterior painting and repair work was performed to my satisfaction. I have recommended Hector's to my friends without any reservations.

We were unhappy with the final results and felt we were taken advantage of. This is a townhome we rent out and were not there to supervise along the way b/c we live out of state. The color they painted the house is not the color we chose. They said it was b/c a satin finish was chosen but one color is cream and the other color is a yellow. There were multiples small places they missed painting on the deck and did not paint the barrier fence at all at the very bottom of the deck. The estimate continued to climb throughout the process. Some things were understandable and others not. Hector argued with me about pressure washing the fence. We did not know there was ivy growing on the fence. It was included in the estimate that they would pressure wash the fence and deck. Hector called me to say it would be $200+ to remove the ivy and sent pics (it was a lot of ivy) and we paid him to do so. However, he wanted to be paid more to pressure wash the fence in the areas where the ivy had been. I told him we would pay to remove ivy but not to do the fence again b/c we had already paid for it. He stood firm he wasn't going to do it without additional payment. He then called me back about 30 minutes later saying he would pressure wash it. I believe this is because he saw the debris left by the ivy and knew there was no way they could just paint over it. My other complaint is in regards to the plumbing we had corrected. There was a small area in the 2nd floor bathroom where there was a leak from somewhere on the 3rd floor. They brought in a plumber who said it was condensation on the pipes and Hector charged $540 to move the pipes and patch the ceiling. When I went to the house a few months later to prepare it for new tenants there was a leak from the 3rd floor bathroom toilet that had curled up the edges of the flooring around the toilet. This means it had been a long standing leak. My husband called Hector thinking this problem had to be related and we also called a professional plumber. Hector sent someone out who was very friendly. However, he stated there was no way the two problems were related because one was a few feet away from the other. I understand Spanish and it seemed more like Hector was calling the shots over the phone, rather than his worker explaining an honest assessment of what was going on. They wanted 350+ to repair the toilet. When the professional plumber got there I paid $200 and he said he was convinced the leak had been from the toilet all along. Water travels down the pipes and that is why Hector's less experienced plumber believed it was condensation. I tried to address the issue with Hector and it was a dead end. If all you want is painting and you are there to supervise it you may be fine and will save some money. However, if you want honesty, integrity, and someone you can really trust I advise you to go elsewhere.

I had Hector's Painting out for the second time. They were on time, reasonable, and professional. I will definitely use them again.

Hector came on a Saturday morning to give an estimate. He was prompt, very professional and gave a written, detailed estimate on the spot. He was very patient with us as we decided what to do. We do not live in the house at the moment and live out of state, so there were some logistical considerations. He painted the ceiling, then put up color swatches so that we could choose interior colors, ordered the paint and then returned to paint the interior walls and trim. He was very flexible giving us various estimates for the entire house, select rooms, etc. He started the painting on time and finished on time. The work is very high quality and the painters were extremely neat, leaving behind no mess at all. Hector was a pleasure to work with, and I highly recommend his company.

I would absolutely use this company again. They did a great job and were fabulous to work with. They more than exceeded my expectations. They painted 2 bathrooms, a large dining room with trim, three bedrooms, interior doors. One of the bedrooms was pine. They did an excellent job!

Hector's has done work for us and our homeowners association before - service and quality is aleays excellent. They are repsonsive and quick to correct anything to your satisfaction. They leave the work area neat and clean. They are not the least expensive but I believe they provide good value for the price. I would recommend them.

I would definitely use them again. I have always had good experiences with them. They are very prompt. They do really good clean work. I am very happy with them. They are competitively priced. I would use them again in the future.

The estimator didn't quite identify all the areas that needed repair, so the estimate was a few hundred less than the final cost. However I felt that the added amount was fair. Overall, they did a good job of scraping and prepping. And they were pretty good about the painting. I did need for them to come back to get some paint off of my shingles. Once they were truly finished, the house looked quite lovely. I plan to hire them again in the near future to do the deck. I just noticed (a year and a half has passed) that they didn't paint behind the shrubs I have at the corners of my house in the front. As the tr shrubs are a bit overgrown, I'm going to have them taken out at some point -- at which point, the trim is going to look quite odd. Perhaps that is standard practice. However I think they should mention that they skip areas behind bushes.

After receiving 11 quotes to paint the exterior of our home we chose Hector's. They did a great job. It is a big house and we could not be happier. Not the cheapest and not the most expensive but they are honest, fair when it came to some previously unseen repair work and overall their work was fantastic. They even told us to take a few days to look the house over and to call them for any touch ups or spots they missed. I really appreciated them for that and they were just as punctual even after getting paid. We will use them for all our painting needs both interior and exterior.

Carlos is a great project manager. He kept us informed during minor delays and carefully examined and managed the work. They did two coats, including trim and ceilings. They asked for no money until the job was completed.

I have used Hector’s Painting several times. They sent a supervisor to assess the job they did. They are making sure they understand the job and they’re quoting it correctly. They give you a price which I find fair and lower than others.

Initially when Hector's Painting Inc. came out, they were very professional. They showed up when they said they would show up. I had some problems with the quality of their work. We called them back and showed them what's wrong. They fixed it.

They were punctual. They worked for about 4 hours. They did excellent work. They did an outstanding job in prepping up the surfaces and painting them. As a result the front of the house looks outstanding. You can tell that I'm very happy with their work. I would highly recommend them.

We made an appointment for an estimate and they showed up exactly at the scheduled time.They made a thorough inspection and presented a detailed estimate which we thought was very fair for the job. First day the power wash crew cleaned the entire exterior including walkways. On day 2 the carpenters started making repairs. They worked efficiently but did quality work. They found areas needing repair that were not on the original estimate and sought approval to make those repairs as well. The increase in price was very small for the amount of extra work done. The painters showed up on day 3 and started to prep the house while the carpenters finished, then finished painting the next day. They did an excellent job painting and cleaned up afterwards so that you would not have known they were there, except the house looked great. I would not hesitate to use Hector's Painting again or to recommend them to anybody.
