The painters were very professional and explained the work. I am considering them for the inside later in the fall.

This was the first time that I had to paint the exterior of my home, so I was doing a lot of research on painting companies. I came across he advertisement for Gonzalez Painting in a pamphlet. The estimator who came out to provide me with my estimate was very knowledge and personable. As I got more quotes from other companies, I was comparing their estimators to the one from Gonzalez Painting. None of them compared to him, so I knew that this was the company who I needed to go with. Lisandro G. was the painter who painted my house. He listened to me and my concerns. He made me feel comfortable with asking questions about the job. A paint job that was suppose to last 5 days, Lisandro completed within 3 days. My neighbors have complimented me on my new paint job which it makes me positive that I made the right choice. I strongly recommend Gonzalez Painting. I will be using them again next year to paint the interior of my home.

I recently purchased a home and hired GONZALEZ PAINTING to paint the entire interior. They arrived for the free quote on time and answered all of my questions. We scheduled the painting to begin the day after my closing. The painting crew arrived on time on Saturday morning. Everyone was friendly and very professional. The foreman was extremely helpful and assisted me in picking out the perfect paint colors for my new home. The workers were efficient and extremely skillful. The estimated completion of the job was 3 days. The painting crew asked if they could work on Sunday and I said yes. To my surprise and joy, they finished the entire job on Sunday working until 6:30 pm to complete. After completing the job, they removed all paper and left my home as they found it. I am so happy with the finished project that I have told all of my friends and family about Gonzalez Painting. I would and have recommended them to anyone looking for an affordable well-done painting job. I will be painting the exterior of my house later in the year – there is no question as to who I will call to complete the job. I am always very skeptical when it comes to people working on anything that I am responsible for. With that in mind our home is 30 years old and was in need of painting and some areas around our windows, gutters and chimney were rotting and in need of repair. Gonzalez Painting came out and did an estimate that I was unfortunately unable to be present for. So I called them and rescheduled a time for me to talk with the painting team and I walked around the house with them and talked through my concerns. After we finished, they got started immediately. They worked for two days to finish the work. 2 guys the first day to work through the majority of the carpentry and caulking that needed to be done as well as the window treatment. The 2nd day a team of 4 people came by and worked like a well oiled machine. Since I do carpentry myself I would say their level of work in the area of carpentry is a 7 but the level of detail, knowledge, skill and efficiency of their painting, is at least an 8.5 but I would give them a solid 9 for our home. Our home is just under 2500 sq ft and they did an amazing job. The house looks amazing and I would recommend them to anyone. Not to mention they pressure washed and stained our deck. Great team, wonderful work, and a 99.9% satisfied customer. Please give them a call.

This company has great great employee's that got the job done done that we needed done and their employee's also went out of their way to make sure we were happy.

Everyone that I was in contact with was pleasant and professional. The representative actually came back twice because of additional questions I had. The office staff kept in contact with me to additionally answer questions/concerns and helped with scheduling. The painting crew was on time and worked diligently, always making sure that what I wanted was done. I would definitely recommend Gonzalez Painting both on work and price.

Gonzalez Painters did a good job of painting the exterior of my home, I have recommended them to family and friends. The crew were pleasant and easy to talk to, they listed to my concerns and try to address them. They seem to know what they were doing and I am satisfied with the outcome. My house is looking brand new and I would not hesitate to recommend them. Prices were affordable also.

Muhamed came out to give us a quote and helped us get a start date. Edgar and another gentleman showed up on time and started pressure washing on Tuesday. I thought this was a bigger job than for only two men. Each day Edgar talked to me to make sure my expectations were being met. Friday afternoon I came home and they were loading their ladders. During the walk thru, we found two minor items that they fixed right away. Before they left, Edgar handed me a 3 year warranty and said to call if I have any issues. They walked the property and made sure to pick up all debris. Excellent work!!

Gonzalez Painting painted 3 interior rooms and the entire exterior of my house. I had a very good experience with this company. Excellent company to work with. I had my deck stained. The quality of the work was poor at best. Unfortunately when the finished it was raining hard and I was not able to inspect the entire job. They missed various areas and will not come back to finish until they can find a crew to do it. They seem to use day labor to do work and their guarantee is based on that same crew returning to do warranty work. The problem with day labor is that they are not dependable. This is a terrible way to run a business and I would never recommend them! Price was too good to be true and I guess you get what you pay for!

The most unprofessional painting company ever. I has two meetings with their Rep. to confirm the service and cost. Two weeks later I scheduled for the painters to start work. When they got to the house they refused to do the word and left. Reason being the quote was to low. Later that afternoon the company called and did not have a balance. After several conversation trying to resolve the matter nothing. I ask Gonzales to meet me half way with the change of the quote of $500.00.They refused. I feel this is the way this company operates. Changing quotes. It worked out well for us. We found a company called Fresh Coat. Excellent job, professional and reliable service. And they are true to their word.

The painters did excellent work. Called to let me know when they were coming and took pictures of I was not available.

Don't be fooled like us. Save yourself the time, frustration and STOP reading this review and move on. They did not honor their quote. BBB has an F rating on them. Our first interior job quote was $1,650 (Mario) but we couldn't read it so spoke to office (Jessica) and she couldn't decipher it either so finally after many back/forth phone calls with Mario suggested we do a 2nd quote. We agreed bc we wanted everything in writing and an accurate quote on everything that needs to be done. The 2nd quote was $2k. We raised a brow but after some explanation from Jessica we agreed on the price and she lowered it to $1,925. Two weeks later, the scheduled painting day arrived. I gave the keys to the rental to the painters and came back to find them gone: no work has been done. Spoke to supervisor Jesus (Javier?) and he said we need to pay additional $900 for them to start because the house needs a 2nd coat knowing we have flooring crew coming in 3 days to start their job. Then he lowered the price to $450 "because it was partially their mistake for not letting us know" but will not start the job if we only use 1 coat. That's 50% more. ***?! Timeline/budget shot. Don't bother asking to talk to the owners: they don't exist/at biz meeting and not local or can't be reached. Oh yeah, Google pictures their office address is actually a DUI school in Kennesaw. A+ for fraud.

We have used Gonzalez once in the past and felt like they did a good job, so we had them come out and give us an estimate on our new home. We got the written estimate for $1990 two weeks ago and were happy with that price, so we scheduled them to come and work tomorrow and the next day. In the past 2 weeks since this was scheduled we have spoken to them numerous times on the phone to confirm our appointment. Today, less than 24 hours before the job was to be started, they called and said there had been a mistake and the cost would be $4500- almost triple the original estimate. This is a job that has several other construction jobs hinging on it with other contractors scheduled. We spoke to the highest up person they could put us in contact with and were told that THEY had made the mistake, it was a "rookie mistake" and that they would not be able to do it for less than $4500, even though we had the estimate in writing. I even tried to meet them somewhere in the middle so our other construction could stay on track... Now we have been forced to cancel because that is not in our budget. Needless to say we are very frustrated that this was not caught before the night before our construction was to begin, especially when we have been following through with them every few days. If they had said something two weeks ago I would have understood and we would have had other companies give estimates. The fact that they will not stand by their written estimate at this late point in the game seems completely unethical. We are very disappointed, And will not be using them again and will no longer be recommending them to anyone we know.

Horrible experience. Got paint on personal property (chairs, tables, floors) and didn’t clean it up. Did not prep ANY surfaces whatsoever. Did not caulk where needed. A not-small man stood on top of our cabinet top to paint a higher-up shelf instead of using the ladder that was 3 feet away! Told me "all done" on day 2 (estimator said 3-4 day job), and when I pointed out several areas where job was substandard, or not painted at all, they told me to make a list of what needed doing - that is THEIR job! Referred to completely unpainted areas as "touch-ups". English/Spanish seemed better when things were "good" and worse when I raised questions. Our son speaks Spanish and told us they were talking about us in derogatory ways in Spanish. Painted interior shutters via sprayer outside and got paint all over the driveway...didn't clean it up. Found four screws in plain view in middle of driveway. Office staff unresponsive until I only made a partial payment to contracted amount. Negotiated a smaller final payment than original contract, but had to waive the "3 -year warranty" (which is fine, as I don't want them back!). Check was cashed by Rodriguez Painting, also in Kennesaw...I suspect they had to change their name (unofficially) due to poor business practices. Beware Rodriguez Painting if same group.

It started off rough, but ended up decent. Our house badly needed to be repainted, from top to bottom, including new garage doors, etc. We have a mix of brick and cedar shingles, as well as a metal roof above the porch, which required different types of products than Gonzalez Painting normally uses. Let me warn others that they quote out for Sherwin Williams Duracraft, which can be easily confused with Duration, due to how closely the names are spelled ("Dura-"). FYI...Duracraft is not one of the high quality SW paints. We asked for a quote for Duration as well as Woodscapes for the shingles, a quote for the deck to be re-stained, trim, the garage doors, metal roof & chimney caps. We did not like how the quote was set-up, because it is based off the Duracraft cost, then all the other product requests, trim, # of coats, etc., were on other lines. When the day came to start the job, the painter was stuck on the total cost, which we tried to explain to him did not include items that we were going to do, as well as the correct products. In all honesty, the quote sheet was a mess, and it was easy to see how the painter was confused. He left, and we worked with the front office to get it straightened out. We requested a clean copy, which all they did was use white-out on certain items. Note to front office: take the time make a new copy because it will be easier to read/understand. Day 2: new painter comes (which is fine) and they pressure wash the house, and do a portion of the carpentry work. Day 3: waited all day, painters never came due to a broken down van. I had to call the front office in the middle of the afternoon to find out what was going on. Note to front office: you might want to check in with your painters, so you can communicate delays with your customers! Day 4: painters offered to come at 6 or 7 am, which was a nice gesture, but too early as they still had some carpentry work to complete and we felt that was too early for our neighbors. They arrived some time between 8-9 am, and worked until 7 pm or so. They came on Friday, and then again on Saturday. It was starting to rain late on Saturday and we had plans, so we told them they were welcome to come on Sunday to complete the finishing touches. My husband said after they left on Sunday morning, he still found some trash, a shirt in our yard, that they didn't pick up. That was disappointing. Our painting crew was led by Tomas, who was great to work with, and we thought that they did a great job. I put the front office through the wringer with all of the phone calls, as well as requesting an updated copy of their insurance, which they did provide. As I said, it started off rough, but in the end it worked out. They did end up being the cheapest of 4-5 quotes that we got, but they were too not far off from all of the others. We would use them again, however, we would recommend not waiting until the painter comes out to get the job expectations lined up, and work that out with the front office the week before the job is to begin. Also, be aware of the type of product; if you do not want Duracraft, make sure this is clearly stated to get an accurate quote.

It did not go well. They were polite, and showed up on time, but when I went in there, there were some problems, they painted my window shut, they did not take the outlets off just painted around them, I also found some paint on the carpet. It was just very sloppy work.

We had several estimates done for the painting of our exterior. We went with Gonzalez because of the professionalism of the estimate and the great price, and we were not disappointed! The crew (2 men) was here for 3 1/2 days. They pressure washed day one, caulked and painted siding day 2, finished the siding and did trim and shutters day 3, and came back to finalize a few things we noticed day 4. They were friendly and helpful. We had several carpenter bee holes in our tim that they repaired well... and did not argue or hesitate to fix an area if we noticed an issue. We will recommend them in the future!

Gonzalez Painting gave me an excellent experience. They pressure washed both the exterior of my house and my drive way for a very affordable price, and the entire project was done in a very timely manner. After dealing with another company that failed to arrive for our appointment, I chose to go with Gonzalez Painting, and they were fantastic! I would recommend them to anyone looking for affordable work done the right way with great customer service.
