They missed the original appointment without calling me to let me know that they could not be there on time. After calling the estimator of Dixon, he was very apologetic about his subcontractor and made another appointment, which they kept. The two workers were on time, well prepared, and understood what my requirements were. They worked quickly, safely, and professionally and completed the work to my satisfaction. I have used Dixon in the past for home painting, and will use them again, not only for painting but also for other home services.

Wonderful. We have had estimates starting a 6K. They did the job well and were very professional. I would hire them again in a New York minuet!

Not well. I feel that they did not properly prepare the exterior surface prior to painting. When I asked questions about the preparation, the painting supervisor's english was not good enough to answer my questions. Relative to painting the fence surrounding the back yard, the painters stopped after one coat because they used there allotted amount of paint. Even though the paint job on the fence did not look good, nothing further was done. When I complained back to the companyon these two issues, nothing was done to address my concerns. Dixon was not the cheapest quote I received but I expected superior performance based on the information on the internet and local home service guides. I was very disappointed.

They were very good overall. Their estimate was correct, when they found additional rotted wood on the chimney, they replaced it. They check the work periodically and I am very satisfied with them. They also treated my deck with no charge. After they had left, it looked like there was something on the roof which should not have been there. When I called them, they came back and corrected it.

They made cold call for business opportunities. The man who made the call was the man who came out to my house, Thiago Reis. During our phone conversation, I told him that my neighbor had gone with someone with a similar name to his company and that I found that confusing. He asked who that company was because he said his company had exclusive rights to my area. This being an absurd comment I told him that I have the right to go with whomever I choose and he stammered around at that comment, never addressing it again. In person, this was a very pleasant and punctual young man. Pricing was comparable. I did not go with this company.

The job went very well. They were able to begin our job when we requested and there were no delays throughout the project. They were more than willing to work with our designer and match paint samples to our satisfaction. They were professional, courteous and responsive. When minor problems arose, they were dealt with quickly and competently. Wilman, the job manager, was excellent to work with and very easy to communicate with. He made a huge job as painless as possible.

At first, I was dreading the hassle of updating my kitchen and dining room. I knew I wanted to change things, but wasn't sure exactly what direction to go in. My friend suggested that I call Dixon Home Services. After having someone come out to give me an estimate, my worries were pushed aside. The estimator was GREAT, he was able to give me suggestions on the work that I wanted done. On top of that, Dixon Home Services provided an interior designer to advise me on colors and styles. What a time saver! The crew that came out to do the work was very efficient and polite. I was impressed with the quality of the work that they did and the best part was how quickly it was done. After the crew finished, Dixon Home Services sent out a cleaning company to clean any details that may have been missed by the painters. WOW, what an experience! I have never had a company take the inconvenience out of remodeling. Dixon Home Services will be first on my list for future home improvement jobs!

I called Dixon Home Services to ask for an estimate and Jose promptly came out when scheduled. The estimate on the new roof and painting was in my price range and I was very happy to hear that I would be getting FREE gutters. I was unsure of the colors to choose and was pleased to be guided by samples. The crew did a good job and finished in the time frame Jose estimated it would take. Dixon Home Services even sent out a landscaping crew to do clean-up to assure me that nothing was left behind (nails, shingles, etc). Other homeowners had warmed me to make sure was all cleaned up as they had found debris in their yard after other companies left. Dixon Home Services will be first on my list to call for future home improvements.

The job went exceptionally well. They were actually able to start a few days earlier than we expected which worked out very well for us. The job was done in a very timely manner and completed in the timeframe we were given. We considered this a fairly large job and there were almost no areas that needed to be touched up. They actually came back after we got all the furniture moved in and touched up some areas that were messed up in the process of moving.

Overall, they were superb! And I don't compliment in that fashion often. They really simplified my life and made this entire process enjoyable, pain-free and desirable (that's new). It was a pleasure to hand them my money. They were very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, took their time explaining and educating me on what I was paying for and why it was important. They made things so simple and went the extra mile to make my life easier. For example, as a complimentary service, they provided a professional cleaning service to clean the interior and exterior areas where the work was performed. This included rearranging and re-hanging the pictures on the wall for me, just because I mentioned they would look better somewhere else! Wow! They put new pinestraw around my flower bed and trees to make the yard look neat and tidy. They provided a professional interior designer to help me coordinate colors and then did sample color tests, to see if the paint that was selected was what I expected! All of this was complimentary, and I know the value of cleaning services and interior designers, that was doubly impressive. I am so thoroughly satisfied and elated, that I am thinking about what else I can have done to my beautiful home :-) With Dixon doing the work, this might become my new hobby.
