d Firstly, Bob was exceedingly professional on the phone carefully explaining the likely cause of my problem and the attendant costs involved in resolving it. He arrived when scheduled and promptly detected the problem and outlined the appropriate management plan. The technicians who came to do the removal and installation were friendly, courteous and o so professional. They were very attentive to orderliness and careful to protect my floor and outdoor area. I highly recommend them without any reservations.

It went really well. He was really helpful and told me things I didn't know about my A/C unit.

The first day, the provider showed up promptly. I explained that the AC was blowing hot and the fan was running slow outside. The provider said it was the capacitor. I paid him $258 to replace that and then to also do an inspection on that unit and the one downstairs. He said all was in good shape. 24 hours later, the AC still did not work. I called the on call guy and he came right over. He took more time to carefully inspect my system. He determined that the condenser fan motor was bad. He gave me a quote of $562 to replace that. This is my problem. The fan was bad after the first guy inspected the unit. He should have caught that problem since I TOLD him what it was doing. I did a little research and found that condenser fans units come with capacitors and they are normally changed together. I also looked up the part and saw that it costs only $120. Instead of wasting more money with these guys. I decided I would get my dad to replace the motor and order the part myself. I called the on call guy again to make sure that I was ordering the right part. I repeated the model number that I had and asked him if the $562 quote he gave me included labor. He said yes. I asked him how much the actual part was and he became very rude and said, "I'm not about to go back and forth with you about this. The price included everything"... Considering they DID NOT fix the unit and I basically paid them for nothing, you would think they would have the decency to give me the part # and price of the part graciously.... or a simple"I do not have a way to see the breakdown of the price of the part alone"... All in all I would NEVER call these guys again. They did not fix my issue even though I paid and the second service man became very rude. Update: 07/14/2015 The owner of the company called me back to get to the bottom of everything. He was very understanding and fair. He refunded me the cost of the labor for the original job. He didn't give me a full refund only because the part that was replaced was hauled away when I had the other provider replace the unit.

Serviceman was very friendly. Answered all my questions, and I'm the type of person who likes to know everything. Would definitely use again.

Kevin was on time to tune-up our AC units and did a thorough job. My husband did not latch correctly the attic unit when he replaced filter recently which caused unit to stop working when filter shifted loose. Kevin explained in detail how to correctly latch filter in place.

The other company was D McKeon Heating & Air, Inc. and I used them probably a month or 2 ago and had a really bad experience. I was not happy. They left it unfinished and I had a hard time getting them back out to resolve the issue. They are fine on the price. The quality was an 'F' for this one instance, this one service was an 'F'.

they were great but my husband decided to go with the same company that put in the other two units in our house. I wish we had gone with these guys.

Or AC quit working today. Our neighbor recommended a friend of a friend. I call them but no reply. I went to Angie's list and called D McKeon Heating and Air. Bob called back in less than 5 minutes and said he would be here in 30 minutes. Bob was here in 15 minutes. Fixed our issue and our house is now in the process of cooling off. Now Bob is not Jimmy John's but he sure could give them a run for the money. Thanks Bob, it's more than appreciated. Fred and Kathleen Michilse

The AC was not working. It ended up being a clog in the sump pump. Easy fix and the tech was wonderful!

It normally costs $150 a year for the service. I've been doing business with him for 20 years. I work for the Environmental Protection Agency and energy efficiency is my field of knowledge that I've been doing for 21 years. There is not many heating and cooling companies that know what they're doing and that are honest, but Dennis knows what he's doing and he's honest.

They always give us a very thorough estimate and went above and beyond in researching different options for our AC needs. They are very prompt, clean and courteous at all of their visits. They are trustworthy and provide quality service and products.

We had a 10 year old furnace that we have had continual problems with since the first day it was installed by another company who sent out subs they had just hired and the owner refused to make it right when things started going wrong. On Friday March 8, 2013 it quit. This happened at least once every year, sometimes twice a year. I called a company (not the original installer) that has serviced the furnace for the past 8 years. They were on another job and couldn't get out until 7:30pm. They were unable to find a problem other than to tell me that it was the thermostat. As soon as they left it quit again and I called them back. They said to remove the thermostat cover and see if that helped. When it didn't work they said they wouldn't be able to return until Monday, March 11. Out of desperation, fed up with the old furnace and convinced they didn't know what was wrong, I looked thru Angie's List on Saturday March 9th and found D. McKeon. I called and left a message. Within an hour Bob Best, Service Manager, called back and came out. He crawled under the house and inspected the furnace and then he listened to all the problems we have had. He explained in layman's terms how the furnace should work and what our old furnace was not doing right. He also told us it was not the thermostat. We decided that 10 years of putting money down the drain on the old furnace was enough. Bob and a helper came out Monday and removed the old furnace and installed the new one. They were fast, clean and thru in under 2 1/2 hours! The original company in March 2003 took over 5 hours! We have not been disappointed! It feels good to be warm and everything is working great with the new furnace! I told Bob we will be calling them to check the A/C as we have had continual problems with leaking coolant and $400 electric bills every summer.

I woke up on Monday morning to find that I had no heat. I called D McKeon who sent out a technician later that day. The gas valve was not operative. Given the cost of a replacement and the age, 18 years, of the current system, we decided to replace the HVAC system. I was given an installation appointment for Wednesday morning. However, they asked another customer for some leeway in their job since we had no heat and actually started on Tuesday afternoon. By five o'clock we had heat. On Wednesday they finished the installation of the rest of the system, i.e. the air conditioning.

As usual they came when they said they would and completed the work in a timely fashion. We have used this company for 13 years with complete satisfaction. In the course of these years they have replaced the A/C system and the furnace the builder put in. The office staff is efficient and so pleasant. They know who you are as soon as you call and appointments are quickly made. The technicians are all polite, knowledgeable and efficient. As I have told them often, they have the best customer service of any firm I've dealt with.

We were referred to them. They did a good job for a reasonable rate. They were very punctual. They were helpful with the repairs that prolonged the use of the units we had.

We have used this company in the past. They continue to show professionalism and knowledge about the heating and air conditioner business. We purchased a service contract with them yearly and it has really paid off.
