I have used Appalachian Tree Service several times now and each time was an exceptional experience. They are reasonably priced, always on time, finish the work better than expected and the crew and owner are very friendly. They will always be my go to for anything tree related and they should be yours, too. You won't regret it.

I had multiple trees removed and some tree pruning done as well. I was very pleased with the entire process & rates. They were professional & friendly, did a wonderful job in a timely manner, and even cleaned up exceptionally well. I will certainly use them again in the future.

Excellent. This was my 2d time using Ryan's company. I solicited competing quotes. Appalachian was out the next day doing the estimate. The remainder either didn't bother calling me or were way-late-to-the-party. The estimator listened to me acutely, asked questions and made recommendations. I had the estimate the next day. Job was scheduled without any issues and they performed excellently. I had no divets in my yard (from falling branches - they lowered everything to the ground), no damage, no issues, they cleaned up afterwards to my complete satisfaction. I would definitely re-use Ryan again.

Had several trees that needed pruning. Ryan and his crew did a great job pruning all the trees that needed to be pruned. They were very professional, cleaned up well behind themselves. The price was very fair for all the work they did.

Appalachian Tree Service came out estimated the job and finished the job for the price discussed and on time. This is the 3rd time i have used them on two different properties. It was a major project as the 3rd project was around a week time. They picked up the debris and cleaned up better than expected. Ryan the owner was involved with the project from start to finish and made sure the crew executed as described. I will say that we had multiple estimates on the project. App tree was not the most expensive and also they were not the cheapest ( I simply never trust super super cheap bids) The job was worth the money and it was a job well done as always. Very professional and excellent service from the initial service call request to the quote appointment to the actual tree service project day. We have used Appalachian Tree Services for multiple tree service projects and have been very satisfied with their service each and every time. If we have future tree service needs again, we will definitely use Appalachian Tree Services of Atlanta again!

Ryan and his crew came and took down a very lg. maple tree, 2 other trees that were damaged and dying. Did a great job and cleaned up very well behind themselves. This was back in 2017. price was very fair for the work they did.

Teem was very proficient. Fairly priced and service was exceptional. They were fast and cleaned up before leaving. I highly recommend!

They removed the trees but did extensive damage to the surrounding areas, breaking and damaging trees 200 feet from the work area. They don't have any experience working in the residential area, it seems. My backyard looks awful now, and my wife gives raises the **** about it. Will never hire them again.

It took 3 days to down appx 50 trees including (13) 40-60' pines, (4) leyland cypress and a variety of large and small trees in our backyard. The crew did an excellent job of directing the fall of the cut trees. They removed the debris each day. The last day the debris sat in our cul-de-sac for the weekend as the debris truck could not get into the vegetative waste before it closed, had a full load and could not pick up more debris. They were out early Mon am and removed the debris. They were back to pressure wash my sidewalks of the mud that had accumulated during the debris removal. The stump remover came about 2 days later and did quick business of the stumps in 4-5 hours. A sprinkler line had been damaged during the process and they sent out a repairman to fix the break at their expense.

Everything looks great. Very professional friendly crew. Complete experience was A+. Will be hiring again due to more work to be done. I have a budget to stay in so only can do small amounts at a time.

They are excellent, very professional, did the job in a timely manner, no damage on the yard in taking down the large tree. Best price too.

They showed up as promised to do the quote and was very professional in marking everything they were to cut down or clean up. The following day I received a written quote. I emailed acceptance of the quote requesting service ASAP. I also mentioned I had an expired coupon from Angies List and asked if they would still accept it. Later that day, I received a revised quote with the coupon applied. Later they called and asked if they could come out late afternoon the following day to do the work....I said yes w/o hesitation! 5 strong young men showed up on time to do the work requested. They cut the trees, limbs and brush into pieces they could carry w/o bringing large equipment onto the yard. All 5 in the crew worked very hard and steady, piling the trees and brush onto a pile to be picked up the following day. They did an excellent job and cleaned up when done. The following morning a truck with a boom came and picked up the large pile. He too worked very hard and completed the job in a timely manner. His final clean up was not great, but OK. We are in the process of putting in a new lawn and the small amount of leaves/twigs left behind was not significant and I suspect if we had a nice yard, he would have done a better job. I have no complaints as he did rake and had most of the small twigs and leaves removed. All the people I dealt with were very polite and professional at their job, from the quote, cust. srvc., crew and hauler. I would not hesitate to use them again. I am waiting for the stump to be ground, but was told that would be done at a separate time. If not done timely, I will update my review.

I scheduled an appointment for Appalachian to come provide an estimate on removing a tree. An appointment was set a week out from the day I called. I adjusted my schedule to accommodate the appointment. Less than 30 minutes before the scheduled arrival time, I get a call from Appalachian saying "your location is an hour from our office and is outside of our service area." Apparently, they had an appointment in Buckhead (which not far from my house) that got cancelled. Sounds more like "we don't feel like coming." I'm fine with being outside of the service area, but Appalachian knew that at the time I scheduled the appointment a week back. Thanks for wasting my time and delaying my efforts to have a tree removed. They did give me a number to Gunninson Tree Specialists, but again - could have given me that referral at the time I called. Like many, I don't like to waste my time. If you're going to use Appalachian, make sure to confirm whether or not you're in their service area, because they're not going to be proactive in telling you that up front based on my experience.

Ryan and the crew at Appalachian Tree Service did a phenomenal job removing four trees from our yard. Their estimate was by far the best price I was quoted, the communication between Ryan, the crew, and myself was always clear and easy, the scheduling was quick, the work was exceptionally fast and well-done, and the clean up left our yard spotless. Appalachian Tree Service is a top-notch business. I will call them whenever I need tree work done, and I will refer all my friends to them in the future.

Very nice crew. Went right to work and were very obliging when I found a few things that they missed. Owner provided me with a written estimate when he came out and had their insurance company send me proof of their coverage. There were no problems.

Awesome crew! They showed on time and knocked all everything within 6 hours! Worked very smartly, considerately to neighbors, safely and efficiently! Stump grinder guy who came a few days later also was great! Would definitely recommend them!
