A team of 8 men arrived promptly at 8 am and started to work. They worked hard until after 6 pm and took only a 45 minute lunch break. The huge hickory tree was expertly removed by one man who expertly climbed and chain-sawed the tree down chunk by chunk. He lowered the tree branches down in pieces with a rope which was expertly maneuvered gently to the ground with the help of the ground crew. The falling trunk debris was confined to a small area beside the tree to minimize damage to the surrounding shrubs. Plywood was used to cover the grass and protect it from the bobcat. Everyone worked synchronously and smoothly together to do a professional job with minimal damage to the other landscape. All of the other trees in our yard were given expert trimmings to raise their canopies and make them look their best. When the job was done the entire yard looked great and there was no debris left. I have employed several different tree trimmers in the area over the past 8 years and this company has done the best job for the best price. Prompt response to phone call. I needed two trees dropped in place since I was willing to do clean up and wanted the wood for firewood.John was timely for the job and performed the work from his bucket truck. It was truly amazing to watch him perform. He trimmed all the limbs and cut the tree in segments so there was no risk of hitting my driveway or surrounding trees. I would recommend him with no hesitation.

A team of 5 guys were on time and very professional. They topped the trees close to the wires and dropped the ones in the back yard. They chipped and hauled it all away and even blew off the driveway to clean the area.

They gave me 10% Angieslist membership discount. It was an emergency situation and they came out right away. They did the job for a reasonable price. It really did take a lot of manpower.

I was extremely pleased with Aable John's service, and especially responsiveness. It was less than 24 hours from first contact to the complettion of the job. Since I couldn't repair my roof until the tree that was scraping it was removed, speed was very important to me. I called Friday afternoon, and John gave me the quote Saturday around 10:45 am, and got his crew there less than an hour later to start the work, which was done around 1pm, including clean-up. Wood was chipped and removed in a truck, sawdust was swept up, and stray twigs were blown back into the woods. Throughout, John and his crew were courteous, helpful, and informative, and I would definitely use them again.

I have used them several times. This last experience was excellent; they came in and did the job with absolutely no damage to anything else. They totally cleaned the area after they were gone; you can't tell the trees were ever there. The price was great and I will use them again in the future.

In one case, they stacked the wood. They were supposed to cut it. It was three foot in length. They stacked in most visible case and in less visible case, they piled them up. I think in all cases the wood have been stacked. In some cases it was not cut in three foot length. They were cut and they were piled on top of the three foot length which was cut. I didn’t discover that until I went to stack the wood myself. I discovered that they hadn’t cut up all the wood. I would not use them in the future.

John came out to give estimate within a couple hours. Gave reasonable estimate. He was professional. I contacted a few hours later to set up a day for work to be done and I got a quick response. The job was done 2 days later. His crew did a great job and cleaned up "like no one was ever here."

It went great. Second time I have used this company. Actually, the first time, they were doing work down the street, and I approached them to arrange an estimate. They came to my yard, looked the place over, gave me an estimate, and performed the work right then! This time I got a couple of estimates before choosing John, but even the estimate experiences were entirely different. The first guy, from a respected company (whose title has a connection with the Braves), was very late-- with no call or apology.He immediately started his sales pitch, walking around pointing out the dire condition of almost every tree on our large lot. Lots of talk about various diseases and how "someday" we will have to have several of them removed. Smart people plan for disaster! Why not now! He could bring out a crane and take out six very large trees in one "pop," as he put it, for only $12,000. We were so turned off by his manner and pushiness. John called to say he was on his way and arrived on time. He looked over the entire yard and agreed that the only trees that needed work were the two large ones and three smaller ones we had called about. The crew arrived shortly, and they-- and John -- started right to work. He has all the huge equipment needed for the largest job and made quick and neat work of it. About as painless an experience you ever get with someone doing any kind of work at your home. So nice to see an honest guy working hard and leaving the customer satisfied!

I made an appointment with three different companies to give me estimates. John was the only one that came on time, he went around and listened to all the specific areas that I was concerned with and took notes. then he walked through it with me one more time and mentioned areas that may also need attention in addition to giving me details to what they were going to do. On the day of the job all the equipment arrived the workers moved like they were in sync not one was just standing around, they climbed 100 ft trees they they moved equipment into place, before i knew it i could see my neighbors house. When all was done they blew the areas where they had equipment and cleaned up all the debris even the items that were not part of their job. I am very pleased and thankful for all that they have done.

They contacted me, met my price range and were able to have it finished all in a few hours.

Overall, they were fast, friendly and professional. They cleaned up the roof and yard area to my full satisfaction. They did not accept American Express, but were willing to hold my personal check for 2 days or so in order for me to get the check covered first.
