A SAYLOR AIR CONDITIONING & HEATING

Several days after house guests arrived, our 16 year old air conditioning failed. It was originally installed and subsequently serviced by A. Saylor with a ten year warranty, so we were not terribly surprised when it failed at 16. However, it could not have happened at a worse time...just after July 4th weekend, and with house guests. We called A. Saylor the morning we discovered it. Michael Saylor arrived by 2:30 that same day. He confirmed that the unit needed to be replaced. It was a large capacity unit with associated parts that needed to be located, so it would be difficult to pull everything together that day for the appropriate installation. Michael got to work, located all the parts and resources he needed and came back to do the installation later that afternoon. By early evening, everything was in, the new unit was fully functional and everything was cleaned up. Our guests had been out for the day so they never even knew we had a problem! There are only a handful of companies that we recommend with no reservations or caveats whatsoever. A Saylor is at the top of that short list. We've used them for nearly 20 years and wouldn't consider anyone else. Whatever your heating or air conditioning needs, you can rest easy that these folks are the most competent, responsive and honest of the bunch out there. Best products, best prices, best service...that's A Saylor!

The owner, Andy, stopped by the morning after I called to look at the project and provide me an estimate. The work was performed by the owner's son. He was very friendly, explained exactly what he was going to do and his time estimate, informed me half-way through the job what he had done and what was left to do, and finally, he cleaned up the area after the work was completed. We were referred to the company by our aunt and uncle's Kitchen and Bath remodeling company, so we did not get other quotes and trusted that we would be getting a fair price.

After another company had left me with no air conditioning for nearly a week of 90 degree weather, I called A. Saylor on a Saturday morning hoping for a Monday service call. A repair tech called back that day and when I explained my situation, he came out that afternoon, got my A/C working and then replaced the circuit board and completed the permanent fix the following Monday. They were courteous and on time or even a little early. I would recommend them and definitely use them again.

Initially I was very impressed. Told me I needed a new thermostat. He suggested I go to Home Depot and buy one. That wasn't the problem. There was a short in the system. He came back to fix it and charged me a service fee again. It's working great.

They showed up on time. They were very professional, personable and polite. They did what they said they would do for the price they said. They cleaned up after themselves and took away all debris. They made sure I had all my questions answered before they left. I felt like I got my money's worth and enjoyed the people.

PRICE WAS HALF OF COMPETITION ON SAME UNIT. THEY WERE VERY RESPONSIVE. I CALLED AT 4:30 PM AND THEY ARRIVED THE NEXT MORNING AT 8:30 WHICH WAS A FEW MINUTES BEFORE THEIR SCHEDULED TIME. GREAT WORK. EXCEPTIONALLY PLEASED.
