These folks were spot on from our first phone contavt to completion of repaiirng some cosmetic outside woodwork, pressure treating & removing mold and painting my house. They arrived on time and finished faster than I thought might happen! Made an incredible difference in my home's overall look!

Again, Five Star Painting has expressed excellence in the painting business. I can say only good things for Michael Nungesser and his staff for their work, their professionalism, and respect for me and my property while painting the exterior of my house and an accessory building. Kudos to each of them, from Estimator Jesse, to Foreman Jackson, to Crew Chief and carpenter Jose, and to each painter. I applaud them and their attention to detail. Each person on the crew was respectful and courteous and diligently worked with great skill. Michael's integrity in the painting business is impeccable. I have contracted with his company twice with no disappointment, and will do so again when the need for painting arises. I commend Five Star Painting of Central GA and highly recommend them.

My cabinets and walls look awesome! Jon Gomez, lead painter, did an excellent job and is extremely professional. Jackson Davis as Project Manager is very professional as well and made sure that I was happy with the quality of work. Professional from start to finish. Jon that came out and did my estimate was very detailed and explained all the work that would be done. Worked with office signing detailed contract and setting up appointment. Crew was punctual. Project manager came with the crew to go over all work to be done . Crew of 4 worked steadily until job complete - they were very neat and clean. Project Manager came out to check everything was complete to my satisfaction. Highly recommend this company!

Paint on window glass roller marks on walls told they would clean at the completion of job dust and dirt tracked over 4 rooms and stairs window, mirrors and floor streaked

Great salesmanship with good follow through. I have, however, asked for some follow-up touch up work, with poor response.

I am still finding problems with their work. Ive had them out two times already, 1st to paint around the windows that they did not do! 2nd they had to come out to paint corners they did not paint and to get paint off of my shower, tub, shower curtain, and trim. That was by the manager. To day I moved some furniture around in my master bedroom and they got a lot of paint on my trim not a drop it looks like they hit it with the roller. Instead of them whipping it off they just put the furniture back so you could not see it. I'm still finding corners they did not paint and now paint on my door its like they did not care at all. I wish I could have them come back and go through each room and fix their paint job but I just had new carpet put down. What if they spilled paint on it would they just try to hide it like they did. I even had the supervisor come out to look at the job and he did not fix it all, only what I showed him, so if I did not show him he did not fix it. I had the worst paint job by Five Star Painting that Ive every had!

Did a very professional job.

Great workers, especially Teryl Thomas, but getting them to show at the set date was a nightmare. Very aggravating contact with customer service. I understood cancelling my first date due to weather and changing to another day but then no one showed. I called and emailed only to receive a response at 8 PM saying the foreman would be at my home the next day. He did not show for the remainder of the project. The workers, who were great, finally arrived at 130 pm without a project sheet and no paint colors. Nothing was passed to them by the aggravating administrative office who I emailed a month earlier with all the paint data. The foreman stopped by a few days later, after the project was supposedly complete to check the work. It was incomplete as a portion of the windows and door sealins were not done. He said he would schedule this soon. Almost a week later, the project is still incomplete and I have not heard back from them. I told him that I would not be using 5-Star Painting ever again for any other projects.

Jesse gave us two estimates and had to return once after we changed the scope of the job. Knowledgeable, nice and personable guy. Helped us choose to paint brand and color scheme. Workers were very friendly and courteous, too. The job included painting walls, stained trim, fieldstone fireplace, and popcorn ceiling. Moved all furniture to the center of a great room and back again after painting. I've painted a lot of rooms myself and never got such sharp clean lines at molding and trim. Impressive work. Also cleaned up afterward but were very neat in doing their job. Covered everything with plastic or drop cloth. Job completed in two days. Also had a follow-up inspection by Mr. Sykes a day or so later. He found a few spots needing a touch up which he took care of. The cost was expense (but half of another estimate). But I could never have taken care of the ceiling and high walls. Too old to be on a high ladder. Would recommend them to anyone.

Rep was really nice. Expensive, but needed the job done fast for insurance company. Several times they just showed up without calling, made a real mess, left boards in the yard nails up, hazard. Left one side of the house open to the elements for a week, had to call several times just to get them to tarp, and the did a half @#$ job. I will not hire them again.

They were very easy to work with. They were very responsive when I had a question or needed help with anything. They will do whatever they can to make the customer happy with the project. I would definitely hire them again.

I had to tell them to cover the carpet and floor before they continued to remove the popcorn texture from my ceilings. They missed some spots and had to come back to fix them the same day. Left a mess, some of which could have been avoided, if they had thought about what they were doing in someone’s home . I am still working on cleaning up the mess and removing paint splatters and drips from my brand new showers and flooring a day later.

They hired subs. Subs had employees with no experience. 5 Star charges a premium for the finished product.

They use subcontractors and the team they sent me I did not like. The painting was fine but some of the other work wasn't as good. That was the only issue I had, the main team did better work than the subs.

Excellent work and attention to detail was evident by Mr. Robinson. As a one man crew, he handled things efficiently and kept the project on point. I would definitely have 5 Star Painting manage another project.
