Fence paint peeled within days. Made us question his entire job. Would not come back and repaint fence.

All items were performed satisfactorily except for a piece of window trim which wasn't up to my expectations. When I contacted him about it, he readily returned and made it right.

I live in Gainesville, so I was trying to find someone local to do some drywall repair for me. I call Mr. Taylor, who lives in Cumming, and asked him for an estimate. I checked his website ahead of time to make sure I was in his service area and he does service Gainesville. When I told him what I was looking for, someone to do some finishing drywall work, he informed me that I live too far away and that it would take multiple trips out to do the work. I understand that it takes multiple days to do drywall work and fully expected a price to reflect that, which is why I wasn't looking for someone coming from South Atlanta to do the work. I think he thought it was too small of a job for him because when he told me he would have to charge, "like $600" I told him I would be thrilled if the estimate came back at $600. Realizing the job was bigger than he though, he requested that I send him pictures of the project, which I declined, stating that I think its too far for him to travel after all. I don't like contractors who think that projects are too small, especially when I easily could have given him thousands of dollars worth of add on work on a nearly 8000 sq ft home.

He is a very nice guy. I highly recommend him.

I contacted Brad Taylor for a small gutter repair job not realizing it may be too small a job for him. He did come back with questions and ask that I send a couple of pictures which I did on 4/30/14. I did not hear back from him so I sent a follow up email on 5/2/14 and still no response. So I called him today 5/9/14 and was informed that he dropped the ball but did advise me the job was really too small for his operation that his handy man jobs were in conjunction with larger jobs. I told him fine and advised that I wished he had advised me sooner. He did apologize for not getting back to me. What he doesn't realize I was going to see how he responded to this situation and if I was completely satisfied I was going to get him to give me an estimate on an total exterior paint job. But not now.

All the work was completed however the attention to detail is seriously lacking. First, scheduling was difficult. But at last he managed to fit me in between jobs. Second, when Brad was on site, the guys did a great job. When he was not on site, which was most of the time, the guys work was sloppy and careless. In removing one of the sills that wasn't as rotted as they insisted, the guy was literally yanking so h****** the board that was nailed in that the wall pulled away from the drywall on the inside and he broke the inside sill. Had I not seen it happen he would have caulked the sill break which was significant. I told him no caulk, you will replace it. The guys knocked over a plant inside and didn't let me know. Only put it back in the pot and tossed the dirt. They also trampled all over the newly growing perennials outside even though I asked them not to, pointing it out. The trim was not put together cleanly. The corners are not aligned and in some cases do not meet. The painting on the trim all over the house is sloppy.

We live in another state and this is a rental property so this was a little slow due to scheduling with the tenant.

Brad was here the same day. Never got the quote. He called to follow up a month later and realized he never sent it to me. After discussing what was needed and messages back and forth since he wasn't sure which quote was mine, he finally sent me a qoute. Quote was double what another was charging.

Brad painted my house and deck with professionalism and great attention to detail. He started on time and completed the job in a timely fashion. Some of the trim had to be replaced and was done with skill. I would highly recommend his work.

I have gotten nothing but compliments from people in the community. He did a great job and was very courteous. He responded thoroughly to every question. He was very patient with us. We have nothing but praise for him.

The work went fabulous! Brad made the project go very smoothly, he is a very kind man and he helped us with a few other small repairs. I would recommend him to anyone. He is the most kind and respectable man that I have ever worked with.

His estimates were very fair. He knew what he's doing. His painting was extremely reasonably priced. He did a very nice job. The price that he quoted was extremely fair. They repaired all the termite and drywall issues that I have in the house. I have no complaint.

We're still in the process. They've revised the quote six times. Unfortunately, we're wearing them out but it looks like we'll probably use them in the next month. They had been very patient, more patient than I would have been in the business that I run. After the third revision, I think I personally would have been running for the hills but they have been very cooperative. They responded and called back. They've been very customer service focused and as a matter of fact, I've got some more work that I'm going to call them to quote on today. I think they've been wonderful.

The team was very professional and courteous. They arrived on time and did a fantastic job. There were some unexpected issues that came to light with our house, but each one was explained and there were no surprises with the final cost.

Was looking for someone to do a minor job quickly and worried that I would not be able to on such a small item. Brad was very quick to respond and got out to the job within days to complete. Great job and very nice. I will definitely use him again!

The painting looks great! Brad was very helpful with color selection for our cedar siding. We wanted to match the current color and I had picked a semi-transparent stain. After Brad and team had painted a small section, he called me to let me know it wasn't providing coverage that I would be happy with and texted me a photo. He was right! We went with the more opaque stain and it looks great. I think many other contractors would have shrugged their shoulders and said "well, that's what she requested so just keep painting." Also Brad and team discovered a rather major issue with our chimney when they were prepping it for painting and Brad was able to get a replacement and have it installed to prevent future leaks in the roof. Also love that he was able to text pictures so that we could see what the issue was without climbing on the roof - or even driving up to the house (it's a lake house). Great work all around - very happy!

Brad Taylor and his crew were very easy to work with. Brad gave me an estimate to do the repairs on a number of areas of my home, however due to budget constraints I could only have some of the work performed now. Brad had no issues with this like another company did that I had come in to give an estimate. He and his crew were on time and cleaned up both days. Brad is friendly and took the time to answer any question I had. I will definitely be using them again to complete the remaining work on my home.

Overall, it went very well! He was supposed to be here 1 day but had to make it 2 days due to some extensive repairs on one of the areas that were originally contracted.

Brad and his crew were extremely professional, responsive to our requests, considerate of our schedule, and accommodating of changes. They performed the work as quoted, delivered on schedule, and produced a high quality result. They were patient in working with our color and design considerations, and accomodated changes and additions graciously. We were pleasantly impressed with how neat and well organized their workplace was throughout the job, and the care that they took to avoid imposing on our use of the house and grounds while the work was in progress. An excellent job at a reasonable price.

Taylor was very reasoably priced and very professional to work with. After the main work was done, there was minor problem that was overlooked, Taylor and team came back to fix that repair free of charge.

Was timely and came out to let me know what was wrong with the badly installed door and what needed to be done to fix it. He was reasonably priced and very curtious. The work space was cleaned up every day. He did return when he was suppose to except for one time I had to call him but he came the next day and had said he was in the process of calling me to let me know he would be delayed a day. Overall I trust him. Not very many handy men I will say that for.

He was fine. He came on time and addressed every issue that we talked about. We ultimately decided to go with somebody else.

Overall it went very well. I found Brad on the Angie's, his estimate was reasonable, he was very punctual and polite and did a very good job. I would highly recommend his services to anybody who needs a trustworthy handyman - a very rare commodity nowadays.

First, let me say that I will take responsibility for some of the communication issues. I only wanted to communicate via email because I had so much going on in my personal life that it was easier for me to write than talk. Brad and I did a lot of back and forth for several weeks. Again, most of this was at my request. I also had to make sure the pricing was within our budget. It wasn't the highest quote we received and it wasn't the lowest either. But I did like Brad and wanted to find a way to make it work. While Brad was nice enough and I really liked him, I was VERY DISAPPOINTED in our final communication. I had decided to officially hire him to do the jobs. When I asked when they could start (which was on a Saturday), Brad said it would be mid-week that week. Then nothing. No email. No phone call. Nothing. On Friday I finally hired someone else do the work. This is a good example of how a contractor is not willing to win a piece of business. Like I said, I did drag this out for a few weeks, but he continued to communicate with me so I felt he did want the business. In a nutshell, would I consider contacting him again? NO.
