John G. was a few minutes late and apologized a few times because of the traffic on GA 400-that's life-not his fault :-). The work was performed quickly, and professionally and I would definitely use him again!

Fine. Buy the Hour sent email response. John Gwynn of Buy the Hour was not available on the dates desired, so I made other arrangements.

Couldn't have gone better! John is very pleasant, professional, efficient, and thoughtful. Instead of just checking off the "to do" list I gave him, he thought through the best way to tackle each project, and the end result was better than what I had planned. I am so thankful to have found a handyman that I can trust and who knows what he's doing. I only gave a "B" on price because I know other handymen have lower hourly rates, but it is worth it to me to pay a bit extra for good quality work and someone I trust. I will use John for as long as he's in business, and I highly recommend him!

It was good. He was good mechnically, he new what he was doing. He cleaned up after he was finished. He was fair priced.

It took us a few weeks to work out the appointment but that had as much to do with my schedule as it did his own. He was very nice and worked quickly. I even had to leave him in my home alone while I ran up to home depot and felt very safe doing so. I would recommend him to others as well as hire him again. This was my first time using someone from Angie's list and I'm very happy with the outcome.

John did an excellent job scheduling this work on short notice and saved me from having to purchase and install a replacement garbage disposal. John completed the work timely and professionally and at a price that was very acceptable. I have used John's services previously and will continue to do so - reliable, knowledgeable and cost competitive !

I got him off Angie's List but he refused to do the job. He said it was too much and he liked to do smaller jobs. He was nice and on time.

Amazing!!! He efficiently installed 2 ceiling fans and cleaned up after himself. He even took the time to check the outlets in 2 rooms that had issues during a recent storm power surge. I would definitely call him to do more work on the house.

The service was fine and they did a good job. I was really pleased with them. He did have to re-schedule and he was apologetic due to a family issue and he re-scheduled quickly.

I called Buy the Hour to replace an outside light fixture up by my roof line. Despite calling after hours and leaving a message he called me back within 30 minutes. While he was unable to perform the service due to the location of the fixture, I was given the phone number of someone else that may be able to help.

Ricky and John came and checked out the area to be painted. Verified the three paint colors and where each went. Ricky then did the painting. Everything necessary was covered well to avoid dripping paint. The paint job looks beautiful. Everything was picked up and put away quickly and well. We were asked to inspect carefully and suggestions were made for maintaining the overall look of the exterior.

I would say this went really well. Once John showed up, he worked quickly and effectively. We got 6 chandeliers/fans installed in less than 4 hours. I considered that a pretty good deal for all that was accomplished.

My father has been using Buy the Hour to take care of a growing to-do list that has been difficult to manage on his own. After buying a special through Angie's List, my father has asked the handyman to return twice to take care of additional work. He has found it to be a good value given the time trade-off and all of the repairs have been done well.

Fantastic experience. He called me right away to schedule the service date. He arrived promptly and was able to install the ceiling fan right away. The light looks great. Should we need help with similar items in the future, I will definitely hire Buy The Hour again.

General handyman services from hanging/re-attaching towel racks to drywall repair. Work was done efficiently and professionally - great value for $$ spent!

John was very professional and friendly. He was ON time and worked the whole 2 hours that I had him scheduled for. He was efficient and did a great job replacing old light fixtures for new ones. He was also very flexible when I had to call and cancel on him since something came up. He was very understanding and kept in touch to reschedule. I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends!

John was very efficient and pleasant/professional; willing to return to re-open and connect the line for any other new electrical purpose I would have. Will use him again for that and other general home repairs.

John arrived and quickly went to work sealing off the gas line to the dryer. His charge was very reasonable and communication was outstanding.

John Gwynn is the nicest guy in the world. What he does, he does well. But if punctuality and reliability is important to you, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere for a handyman. John showed up more than three hours late for our first appointment, calling every hour or so to tell me he was "running behind". I figured everyone has an off day occasionally and the work he did was okay, so I called him again several weeks later for a couple other jobs I had. Our appointment was for "after 3pm". At 2:30 he texted me to say that he wouldn't be able to make it at all that day. He called later that day to reschedule, but I told him that kind of unreliability drives me crazy and that I wouldn't be using him again. I expected him to assure me that if I rescheduled he would make it his business to be on time. Instead, he kind of verbally shrugged and said that was just the nature of the business and there wasn't anything he could do about it. I'm home for much of the day and I still can't stand unreliability. If you work outside the home and have to make arrangements to be home for a handyman's visit, don't count on John Gwynn.

Everything went smoothly and efficiently (took an hour and a half). John is personable, affordable, and efficient. I particularly appreciate his locating difficult to find parts prior to doing the work.
