Description of Work: All three of my ceiling fans were broken and I thought they would need to be replaced. No! I was amazed! John fixed all three, but we decided one had to be replaced. He also repaired and replaced my doorbell, add switches to my under-cabinet lighting and other chores. Will absolutely be using him again - I've already reviewed the list with him (If John doesn't do the kind of work you need, he'll have a name for you.)

Description of Work: The date of service was 6-20-15, and the cost of service was $150.00.

Description of Work: John came out several times to tackle miscellaneous jobs related to our move to a new house. He's really nice and very capable. I will call him again when I need a handy man.

Description of Work: I have used John in the past for some handyman work. This time I was having new closet racks and shelving installed and called him to remove the old shelving. I had procrastinated and did not call him until a couple of days before installation of the new closet so I needed him to do the work immediately. He made time on Saturday and Sunday to do the work. | |After he removed the old shelving he carried everything to the basement for me. He also applied spackling to the holes where the old screws had been. Then he returned the next day and sanded the spackling. He also got a painter for me who repainted the walls. | |The project went well and I already have a couple other projects for him.

Description of Work: John did an excellent Job and did not linger at all on a variety of things that needed repair or fixing around the house. His timely manner in getting things done....saved us money...based on his hourly rate. Also...he is a very nice and trustworthy man. You feel comfortable leaving him to do jobs even if you need to leave him in your home alone while you are out.

Description of Work: John at Buy the Hour came on time, patched a hole in the ceiling as promised at a reasonable price and was friendly throughout it all. The quality of the work was good and he did provide a referral for a task that he was not able to do. I would definitely use him again.

Description of Work: John replaced the fan in our den that has a 17 foot high ceiling. He configured the remote control and tested everything. He then cleaned up the mess. I didn't mind paying extra for the high ceiling

Description of Work: Install two ceiling fans, on with remote. Took exactly two hours. My worker got rid of the trash. Very happy with results.

Description of Work: We set up the appointment for 4 p.m. on a Wednesday. About 2 minutes before 4, he called to say he was running late on another job and wouldn't make it. We rescheduled for a couple of days later. He was about 45 minutes later than the time he said but didn't call, just arrived. I was home so it wasn't a big deal but it could have been a problem. |

Description of Work: John replaced a ceiling fan in one bedroom, installed a new fan in another bedroom and replaced the foyer light with a new one. John is a very, friendly professional and we are very pleased with the workmanship and our new fans and light fixture. |We will definitely use him again, possibly very soon since the new fans have really dated several of our other ceiling fans!
