Also, he anchored a curtain rod, tightened front door handle, fixed weather strip around front door, found product info on the net, consulted with me about other matters. I will definitely use his good services again.

Description of Work: I emailed John April 4 about 11:45 PM (after ordering explaining some of the task I wanted completed) and expected to hear back from him the next day. I even called and left several messages; it was I that kept calling. I emailed detailing what I wanted completed: to remove a mirror in my bathroom, to put up two lights, and probably (if time permitted) to assembly a patio table. He responded asking me about sponse????? What the heck is this? I responded saying no electrical work was necessary I only wanted him to put on my wall. No response even after leaving several more messages. I finally left him a message saying that I thought it best that I ask for a refund and cancel my request for him to do any work from him. He called me back and was sorry that he was not able to help me and he did think it best that I cancel the order. He was very nice but I was so troubled to have to have had to work so hard to get such little task completed.

Description of Work: Contacted John at Buy the Hour and we agreed time to come out and price the job. Unfortunately when John arrived the work we require is not his area of expertise so he is unable to complete this order. He was very polite and very professional, but on this occasion just the wrong man for the job.

Description of Work: John has been to my home two times within a month...I had many jobs! He was fast, wasting no time for even a cup of coffee. He does a neat job with no cleanup left for the homeowner. His prices are fair and he knows what he is doing or will tell you that you need a specialist instead of handyman services. He installed 3 ceiling fans, 3 light fixtures, took out a shelf and installed new TV, hung a mirror,changed out a toilet seat, pushed over a rotten tree.....all with a dry wit!!!

Description of Work: I needed two large mirrors removed and John took them down in less than 1/2 hr. and carried downstairs for me, so I could dispose of them in the dumpster that HOA provides each year for household items that we don't want. He didn't charge me anything, as he wasn't here for maybe 25-30 min. I will definitely call on him for future work

Description of Work: I have used this company and service before - and I am totally delighted w/the service and price. I had several heavy items that needed to be hung (a large mirror for one), a towel rack installed and a light that needed to be mounted to the ceiling (in the bathroom). I have used this company over the past three years and am totally satisfied w/the end result. John Gwynn (the owner) is prompt, efficient and professional...and I would not hesitate to highly recommend his services.

Description of Work: I dropped a penny accidentally in the garbage disposal. I thought it was jammed or busted. I had dinner guests coming the next night and needed help right away. No one would call back. John did. He was very busy though and told me what to buy ($5.00 Allen wrench) and told me what to do over the phone in 5 minutes. After work I followed his instructions, it took me 45 minutes because I had never done this before and fixed it myself. He called the next morning on his own to see if I was able to do it or if he needed to fit me in on Saturday. This man has character and decency. Thank you sir.
