They told me they would arrive for an estimate between 1:30-4:00pm. After telling me someone was on the way they never bothered to respond to any of my follow up messages asking for an update on when they would arrive. After 5 hours of waiting I gave up. It is a 4 hour round trip to my property. Thank you for wasting my entire day.

They built it. That's all I can say that is nice. Never came back to paint it. Two years later the crappy wood they used has sap dripping out all over the stain we ended up putting on it. The porch is not stable and is coming apart at the top of one handrail. TERRIBLE.

We had a leak that had weakened the sub-floor in the shower. Chris professionally removed the shower glass, tile, concrete, shower pan and rotted sub-floor. He placed blowers underneath the house and in the bathroom to dry out as much sub-floor as he could. He installed a strengthened sub-floor, built a new shower pan, and retiled the shower and the surrounding floor. Chris's work habits are very good in that you always knew when he would arrive and he always worked as late as needed. I would recommend and hire Chris again in a minute!

Chris and his son did an excellent job with our Hartwell lakehouse! They painted almost the entire house and were both thorough and painstaking in their work. They were professional, timely and easy to work with. It was so nice to hire one person who could do so many different tasks, including painting, tiling, carpentry and light electrical. Will definitely hire them again!

This was not an easy project. Chris and Chase handled the various challenges of steep pitched roof and uneven terrain around the house with ease. Much attention to detail was needed in both workmanship as well as safety precautions. It was evident from the first couple of days of the project that the duo took much pride in their work and did not take shortcuts. It was comforting to know that the repairs were being performed properly and this focus on doing things right was evident in the quality of their work. Chris does excellent work! He pays attention to detail and does quality work. They work hard and clean up when they are finished each day. We are very pleased with everything! They rehabbed our deck and built a new railing and steps. They built custom shutters for the house, which are beautiful! They even let our dog out during the day when we were at work! I highly recommend Chris Hall and I will definitely hire him again for future projects. He does quality work at reasonable prices.

Very unprofessional and never completed job

Went well. He had to come back out because run was not draining but he came right back out. However I had a lot of additional work I asked for pricing on and he just blew me off. Have hired someone else.

Hall and his son were very professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. I was so happy with their work I asked them for quotes on some other projects that I will have them do in the future. The project took about a weel to complete and the price was very reasonable for the amount of work.

Installation went very well; very reliable, responsive and professional. They didn't provide the installation rate (price per sq ft.) until the job was done and it was the same rate that anyone including Lowes would have charged. They leveled the floor in the worst area in which it was needed but not in all areas in which it was needed. Otherwise the work is of high quality.

Chris came out when he said he would and checked the faucet, took a look under the house found the cold water line going into the hot water heater leaking pretty strong. Gave me a price with worst case scenario which involved replacing the 3 copper pipes going into the shower faucet and replacing the leaking pipe down under. He ran into some crazy things, but isn't that how it always goes!! Not only did he fix all of those things, he also replaced the shower head and spout!! I have a old heater but now I'm back to consistent hot water!! So excited! I will be having Chris back out to replace the hot water heater, which by the way excellent price! All of my electrical outlets be cause they are worn and the plug doesn't want to stay in. Plus whatever else comes along...So thankful to have found Chris Hall. A very competent and genuine person. Thank you so much!!

he did very detailed work. he discussed each phase with me and what needed to be done. he was fair with his pricing on extra stuff that came up such as rotten posts.

In a word, excellent. They are conscientious, friendly and knowledgeable. The original repairs required shutting off that section of the house and hanging plastic sheeting. They set up an alternative site for my "office" and were as unobtrusive as possible. Unfortunately, the original repair work uncovered a lot of issues from rotten window casings and siding to plumbing issues and shifting walls. Nothing stymied them and everything they have done (to include choosing paint colors when it became a bit overwhelming has been extremely pleasing on all levels. I had a deadline to complete the original flooring and not only was it met, but often I had to send them home in the evening as they worked long hours to insure perfection as well as completion. Often Chris made suggestions of ideas that solved problems I either didn't know I had or had never been able to solve. Even things like replicating a sunrise pattern in the house on the railing of the deck which turned out to be stunning. Unlike several who came before, they are reasonable, helpful, professional and well worth the experience. Their cost is very reasonable especially compared to some who have done surface improvements that did not stand the test of time yet were very costly. It is impossible to put an "approximate cost of service" as they have been working here off and on since May 2015. They have given me back my house.

They were able to troubleshoot and fix the electrical problem right away. Chris has been awesome. He has done everything from plumbing, electrical, kitchen tile,install dishwasher, range hood, ceiling trim, sinks and faucets for me in the past and I couldn't be more pleased. Chris and Chase are a great team and good people, trustworthy and professional and I have nothing but good things to say about them. Thank you guys, you're the best!

Chris and his son Chase came and did everything that we had discussed and stuck to the original quote. I added some more electical work while he was on site and he did it with no problem and adjusted the price accordingly. He is prompt, professional and his pricing is very fair. He cleaned up and took all waste with him. I would recommend Chris to anyone that needed a handyman for remodeling, plumbing, electric work, etc.
