A Affordable Services

Promised to come early but arrived about 5PM. Did not bring the right parts and have to recycle old parts.Overcharged .IMO.Was pressured to fill out another survey with good recommendations to get some discounts, otherwise , it would have been even more expensive. Not happy.

I got 4 estimates and Affordable Services was by far the least expensive. Ruben provided references from other people in my neighborhood. I drove to their house, introduced myself, and asked their opinion. Ruben did not go over his estimate by a penny except for when I asked for additional services (e.g., I wanted a second coat of gloss), and then he gave me an updated estimate before he did any of the additional work I requested. He even painted up some scuffed doors for free while he was painting the window trim and roof facing, which previously had been the same color as the house. It was his advice to make the window trim and facing match the doors, and he was absolutely right that it made a huge difference in the curb appeal, all for almost no extra money except the cost of the paint, which was cheaper than the stain, anyway! He and his guys were reliable, respectful, and considerate. They went above and beyond, even coming back a few days after they were finished and had gotten paid to help me carry some of the heavier planters and things from the yard back onto the now-dry decks.
