STAY AWAY - LOOK AT BBB REVIEWS They provided completely unprofessional, deficient service resulting in an awful customer experience. Mr. Walker made the situation even worse by being dismissive and abrasive when I reached out. The technicians they sent to my home on July 7, 17, and 27, 2023 displayed a dismissive and irritable attitude each visit. They failed to properly diagnose the AC problem, resulting in useless "repairs" that cost me over $360 in refrigerant yet never fixed the issue. They report false charges that the warranty company doesn't cover so the customer ends up paying. This company also excessively delayed appointment times without notice. My repeated calls to the office went unreturned, causing me to endure over 3 weeks without AC service during peak summer heat. I finally hired an independent technician, who immediately determined the AC system needed full replacement - a diagnosis Global HVAC should have made on day one. When speaking with the owner Mike Walker about the terrible service, he proceeded to speak to me in a rude, combative manner, insisting no mistakes were made and taking zero responsibility.

In Feb of this 2020 I was unable to get my regular guy here and so my husband called Global they scheduled us in and came out because the unit was not heating. Service call was $90 which I paid that day. They replaced condenser fan motor and condenser fan blade for a cost of $460.50. I was up and running and things seemed fine. Not quite 3 months later in May of 2020 I needed air and had none, so my husband called again, unit was low in coolant so refrigerant was added (not sure why this was not checked in Feb but sure there is a good reason). This was a cost of $240.75, that was May 20th and I had to wait for my check to drop to pay so I got contacted twice by text and by email to pay invoice. It was paid on the 27th of May. On June the 10th my air went out. I contacted my regular guy (his surgery was over and he was back to work) because I had contacted Global twice and was not happy but also felt their charge was high. Just me. My guy came out the morning I contacted and found the motor to be bad. He told me no problem, contact the former who put it in and it would be warranted. I did, Mike proceeded to get irate as to why I had not contacted him first and then asked me the credentials of my guy and then told me he would not warranty the motor since he did not know what my guy had done to it. At that point I knew I was dead in the water, so I called my guy back that night and told him if i was going to be forced into buying a new motor again i would prefer he do it. He came out the next morning with a new motor. Here's what he found. The other motor had been wired/installed incorrectly. Also there was a little rubber stopper thingy (don't know correct terminology) on top of the motor that was not taken off and should have been. Other things that are minor and depends on the service person if they do these things or not that does not matter at this point. I am fixed and up and running. My point here is #1 a customer should NEVER be spoken to the way Mike spoke to me. If this is the way a company is run, it is sad.

Contacted Global on a Friday morning. My call was returned on Monday mid-day. Service man arrived late afternoon on Monday. Added 3 lb of freon to system. Inspected system for leaks and found none. Charge was $399. Paid global tecxh with credit card and received receipt. Global sent bill. Then global owner called two weeks later very upset over an overdue bill. Took a week for Global to finally realize payment had been made at time of service. Had to have another service provider service unit approximately 2 months later for same issue. Global service man had apparently improperly installed petcocks when pressure/filling of system was accomplished. We won't recommend or use Global's services again.
