Called Arc to get a bathroom remodel estimate before Christmas. Ralph came out was very nice and very professional. He had some really good ideas and I was anxious to get his quote. It is now nearing the end of January and I still have not heard back from him. I called once 3 weeks ago and he said he had been busy but would get back to me by the end of the week. No call. Sent him an e-mail and got a reply from his daughter that he had to go out of town on family business and that he would be home the next day. It is now the following week and I still havent heard from him. I really liked this man but even if he got back to me at this point I seriously doubt I would trust him enough to do business with him.

Repaired shower leak without tearing out to tile and overdoing the job. Was neat and left no mess behind.

They arrived a few minutes early than scheduled time, so the work started right on time. They had the workdone very quickly. After they left, the owner called and asked about their work, and asked to stop by to seethe work completed. I paid the same amount as on estimate. I received estimates on other work, andwill use them again.

They came within the next day of me contacting them. They were able to locate the leak and stopped the leak. They informed me that they would be back in a few weeks. They did in fact show up but they were completely unprepaired. During the job I was giving them tools from my personal tool box to save them the trip back to their garage. I had a popcorn ceiling so they had to repair that as well. I requested lights to be placed and the ceiling to be replaced. In all honesty I am not impressed with the job they performed. Requested a written contract with an estimate three or four times, never happened. When I received the bill I paid it promptly, when I went through the bill and they charged me over 100 dollars to remove furniture from the room when in fact I removed the furniture myself the night before.

Ralph was very responsive to my request to make the shower safer for my aging parent. He had several ideas at our initial meeting as well as listened closely to understand what we wanted. Our neighborhood is not expensive so we wanted to keep the costs down to fit within the resale value. He was quick with a written estimate - just a couple of days, and ordered the shower as soon as we accepted the estimate. There was a delay in the project when the manufacturer sent the wrong unit, which was too big for our room. Ralph worked with the company to shorten the order time, even driving up to NC to pick up the new unit. Once the unit was in, the demolition and rebuild went right on schedule. The fellows on the crew were very careful about being clean and tidy at all times. They were friendly and professional, as well as punctual. When the saws-all cut through to the hall wall by accident, they immediately told us what happened and patched it up perfectly. I really appreciated the entire interaction. When they were done, they invited us in to inspect it and showed us all of the work clearly, with patience for questions asked by my elderly parent, who was going to use the room.

He was on time and gave a detailed estimate. Whould love to use him pay and for the service but cannot afford it right now.

I called ARK Enterprises spoke to Angie and left my number for a returned call. The owner, Ralph, had contacted me the same day and made arrangements to come out to my home at a time that was convenient for me. Ralph explained the repair details, estimated cost and time frame to complete the job. I will recommend ARK as well as use ARK in the future.

I selected Ark Enterprises from Angie's List. I wanted a company that could perform a wide variety of repair jobs in my home. The owner of Ark Enterprises came to my home to review the various repair jobs. He was quite helpful in explaining how his company would go about the repairs. The owner returned to my home a few days later to review the quotation. We agreed on a start date and his employees came at the exact time they said they would. Because the drywall took a little longer than they anticipated, they returned the next day to complete the work in the bathroom. The work covered two half days. The quote for the drywall initially was estimated at one hour but when they found the leak and repaired it, the work came to an additional hour. Ark Enterprises' final bill was true to their quotation so there were no surprises. The two employees who performed the work were both thoroughly professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Their work to the bathroom is of high quality. The owner came out to inspect the completed job before I made payment to them. We had a slight delay with starting the bathroom project, but that was partially my doing. When I was ready to start, they had one employee who was recovering from a stomach virus, but once he recovered ( a couple of days only), they came out as promised. I still have more work in my home and I'm calling them this week to ask that 'phase two' of my home project be put on their schedule. It feels good to work with a company that employees professionals not only with their quality of work but with their approach to their customers.

I joined Angie's List to find someone in my area that could do some outside repair work on my house and then paint the exterior. I saw Ark Enterprises as being a company in my area that had "one" good report that could do the work I needed. I contacted them the first of June 2010. I kept calling to get in touch with Ralph Jester the owner to explain what I needed done. He was always busy or out of the office. He finally got in touch with me in July. He came to my house and I showed him what needed to be repaired and that I also needed the outside of the house painted. He said he would send some guys over to take measurements and get back with me with an estimate. In August I still had not heard back from Mr. Jester. I emailed him and told him I was going out of town for a week and would be back on 8/23/10. He emailed me and said he would have an estimate for me when I got back. I emailed him when I got back on 8/23/10 and he said he would have an estimate for me by the end of the week. It is now 10/14/10 and I have not heard from him yet. I contacted someone else to do the repair work and another person to do the paining. They both came out the next day and gave me an estimate. They came and reparied the items that needed repairing and the painters then came and painted the house and they both did an outstanding job. My house looks like it did when i had it built. Ark Enterprises does not know or care about customer service.

The work they did on the inside & outside of our house looks better than it even did originally, before the damage. If you want it done right and you want to be treated right call ARK Enterprises. We are so glad we chose them to work on our house!!
