Electrician was very knowledgeable, providing advice on some out dated things and made the necessary upgrade.s All work was completed quickly and efficiently.

Their invoices say no surprises on pricing. I had two different "surprises" on pricing, despite my being upfront on the installations of the ceiling fan and chandlier. They charged me over $300 for installation of the ceiling fan which, including going to the truck to get the ladder, took them less than 30 minutes to install. And then, despite me telling the weight of my chandelier (knowing from another estimate that they would have to install a new box that could support the weight), they had another up charge. So my $800 estimate came in over $1000. Would not recommend nor would I use them again.

The team was very polite and professional. Eric, the electrician was very good and provided a lot of insight into possible improvements that could be made going forward as well. He performed the work quickly and at the quoted price. I would definitely recommend Light’em Up.

I was pleasantly surprised by Light-Em Up Electric. From the beginning when they called me in response to my service request here on Home Advisor, they were pleasant and professional. I particularly liked their 2 hour window for the electrician to arrive at my home rather than the usual 4 ~ 6 hour window which other companies give. They set up an appointment for the day after I made the request online and followed up with a confirmation email to me showing a picture of the electrician who would be here as well as his name. As promised, the next morning they called me at 11:00 to let me know the electrician would arrive on or before 11:20. The electrician arrived about 11:17! He was Craig Windom and he was wonderful! Craig did a full inspection and also checked out the two ceiling lights which were giving me problems. He fully discussed his findings with me. He needed to get some supplies for the job so we agreed he would complete the work the next day which he did. Craig made sure I understood everything that was going on with the project. When he realized the whole panel had to be replaced, he showed me exactly why. I am very happy with his work and with Light-Em Up Electric. I will definitely us them again and I will recommend them! Appliances were shorting our due to previous owner spray painting the garage with the breaker box open. The contacts were overheating causing a short and potential fire hazard. The box was replaced and it was suggested we added a whole home breaker system and an updated grounding pole We also hired them to install an outdoor ceiling fan. They are professional and courteous. I would recommend them.

I’m a little disappointed they promised to label my circuit by but they labeled a couple incorrectly.

My experience with Light-em Up was Fantastic!!! DJ came out and did a very thorough evaluation of my job and made recommendations on some upgrades that I might want to consider in the future. After we agreed on the options I would go with, DJ was available the very next day. DJ and Chris showed up as expected. DJ kept me informed at each step along the way. I wish that I could attach pictures to this review. The under-eave lighting that was installed is stunning. It completely transforms the exterior of my home. I would highly recommend DJ for your job. If all other Light-em Up employees are as thorough professional as DJ, you will have a great experience.

It took about 10 min to install fixture. I was charged $140.

The job required a simple replacing of 2 wires located in the outside box and reattaching the wire housing to the outside of the house. The job took 2 ½ hours. The original quote was $991.00. I told the service rep he could pack up equipment and leave. He came back with a quote of $662.28. That is approx. $127.00 /hr. From everyone I talked and shown the pics to the job should not have cost more than $225.00 (worst case). The only reason I agreed to the gouging price was because the tenant has children, some are toddlers. I will never do business with Light-em-Up Electric again. Hire them at your own risk.
