+ -1 moreThese people aim is to use you deposit to upgrade their rental property. Their doors are f***** up and almost off the hinges. They come to see that you have nothing on the wall at all. Who lives in a house and can't hang picture on the wall? Go to their office you will see stuff all over the walls. If you don't take proper notes before moving in. They will make you pay for existing problems. They are the worst rental company ever to deal with. I would rather buy my own home or live in a trailer park than renting from them.

Description of Work: Holtzman and Banker Real Estate SVC are terrible, if you’re planning on do business with them don’t. This company took over 1000 dollars of my money claiming the house I rented was dirty. I have pictures if viewers would like to see them. This company is unprofessional and need to be shut down immediately. I did research on this company and found out that they had did this numerous of time especially to Soldiers like myself. They know that we have to PCS and won’t have enough time to fight for our money back. Don’t buy or rent with this company names to look for (Toby Mahan and receptionist Angie) these two are very rude and unprofessional. This company name to be re-staffed and review by the Better Business Bureau. I advise you Soldier and locals of the Hinesville don’t do business with Holtzman and Banker Real Estate.

+ -1 moreThis company is awful. The first time we went to pay rent, they didn't tell us that our debit card payment was declined (we had a $500 maximum that we didn't know about). We were not informed of the problem until we got an late notice, attached to an eviction notice saying we had 5 days to pay with a ridiculous late fee or we would be evicted. Repairs are not made in a timely manner at all. We have reported several random (relatively minor) issues through the house and it has taken far too long to get fixed. Recently, I reported that our roof was loosing shingles and needed to be fixed as soon as possible before the tropical storm came in. It took a few days for someone to even come to do an estimate, and it's now been two weeks and my roof is not repaired. I made a second complaint today and ended up having to get the military involved in order to get something done. They claimed that they would send someone out "with an hour" to fix the problem. It has been over two hours now and it still hasn't been touched. Our garage ceiling is sagging, and there are other parts of the house with bad water spots showing up. They are being extremely stingy with repairs. It's hard to pay rent, too. You can't use debit cards, and they charge extra if you'd like to pay with a credit card. You can pay cash (but not on Saturdays), check, or money orders. I would not recommend this business to ANYONE!
Description of Work: We rent a home through Holtzman Real Estate. It's a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, with garage and fenced in yard. We pay $980 for rent.
