Josh and his crew are professional, trustworthy and reliable. The quality of their work is excellent. They are friendly and courteous and we were very comfortable having them in and around our home. The goal of our project was to remove the old wooden siding, do some structural repairs and replace the old siding with Hardie Board. We also extended our back deck and added a gable over it. We hired Josh after firing another contractor who was dishonest and did poor quality work which could have caused major problems. He left us with no siding on the house for a month with cold weather coming. Josh had to fix the first contractor's mistakes before continuing with the job. Many people would have taken advantage of our situation, but Josh worked out the most efficient ways to get the job done and save money whenever possible. He is a problem solver, and when you add the mistakes of the first contractor to the unexpected surprises lurking in a 30 year old house, there were many challenges to overcome. We are very pleased with the final results. Our house is structurally sound again and it looks great. We highly recommend J&H Construction, and we are already planning to hire them for future projects

Josh is a top notch, versatile handy man. We've worked with him for over a year and I can't say enough positive about him. His work is great quality and he doesn't take advantage of anyone. He can diagnose problems and expertly fix them. I don't know where we'd be without him.

Josh is a Great guy, has a good crew and gets the work done as promised. He installed a retaining wall for us and installed our fence posts.

He put a metal roof on for me (I already had materials and old roof was already off). He also did some foundation work. He told me this was going to take a long time, which is why the charge was so high. Made sense, since he was going to have to jack the house. I paid him $7000. They were done with the foundation work inside two days. He didn't level the house at all. I heard him jack it in two spots for about a minute each. (And he kept the two jacks he bought with my money.) On the roof, he used my good boards that I had taken down, removed nails from and washed to repurpose. Instead of him re-using the nailers he had to remove, he used my good boards that I had stacked away. After he replaced the roof, water was pouring into my fireplace because he left over an inch of space between the roofing and chimney. I had to put flashing and caulk around it myself because he didn't fix it. Water still pours into my kitchen because he didn't do the flashing correctly where the roof changes pitch. I told him I would like a portion of my money back and he said he was going to go over the materials cost and get back to me. He never did. He asked why didn't I say something about the cost when we were talking about it. Now he ignores me. I've sent videos of my kitchen raining water and he doesn't even reply. A joke of a business and not a man of his word AT ALL.

I was extremely pleased. They were on time and did a great job. The work was done in good time. Plus they were very trust worthy.
