The fence itself was done fairly well although a large number of boards had splits that were larger than usual. The gates were installed using flat pieces of galvanized metal that were nailed to the 2 X 4s with the nails bent, crooked, and coming through the opposite side to pose a safety hazard. The pieces of galvanized metal were bent, crooked, and off-line. Nine months later, two of the gates are so warped that they barely close. When I called Virgil about this, he said he could put in metal-framed gates for $350 apiece, but that he could do nothing for me about the shoddy workmanship which resulted in the warpage of the gates. He wouldn't return my calls or come view the gates himself. I would not recommend this company to anyone and anyone can come to my home and look at the end result themselves.

Contractor arrived when he said he would and work progressed daily. The work went slower then anticipated as there were days when only one workman showed up. Fence line was a little off from what was requested but not enough to make an issue of it. Fence was installed according to our agreement. Only hiccups were after completion when it came time to remove the debris. I had to send them back out to clean up the branches and old wood fence along the back property line. Payment was only requested upon satisfactory completion of the job, which I liked. I would use this company again.
