He did a decent job cleaning, but he told me he needed some special sprays that he didn’t have. I was looking for someone who would put down the plastic on the floors to help keep furniture and other items off the floor while the floor was drying, and he didn’t have that either. I was a bit disappointed in that regard. He did the cleaning, and he cleaned well, but that was basically it. With the ceramic floors, he didn't have any attachment to help clean under the cabinets where the machine wouldn't reach. He did warn me of that beforehand, and I had him go ahead and do the work, but the corner areas were left darker than the areas he cleaned. Again, he warned me of this ahead of time, but I would recommend to the company that they gain the ability to cover these corners.

Stay away from this unprofessional, poorly run business. We scheduled an in-home estimate for a carpet stretching - all the other companies I contacted wanted to evaluate in person. Yep, no one showed, so i called their office and they let me know at that time that their tech was running behind. Thanks for letting me know... We rescheduled and they showed up 20 minutes late. The scruffy looking kid who showed up at our house with dirty water dripping out of the back of his van admitted he was new and thought he was there for a carpet cleaning. He had no idea how to give an estimate or evaluate what needed to be done, so I had him call his office. They quoted me a price per room site unseen. I asked them what the total cost would be based on the number of rooms - a final quote before I agreed... the guy told me very rudely to figure it out. What? The math is not hard...and is not the issue. I wanted a quote for the service...so give it to me... pretty please and thank you.

I made an appointment to have my carpet cleaned on 4/2/13. He said to MAKE SURE i was there AT 4:30 pm. I was at the house at 4:20. I had everything picked up, carpets vacuumed and ready to go. At 4:45 still not there so I called. The owner/manager "scolded" me because he said he tried to call me several times and couldn't get a hold of me and since he didn't get an answer, they went on to the next job. I had no missed calls, and he didn't tell me he was going to call anyway. He said he would get in touch with the young man cleaning the carpets. The owner/mgr called me back and asked if the worker had called me and I said no. He said, "well he is on his way over there and he is going to call you". Every time I spoke with the owner he was irritated. I never got a call from the worker, but that's ok, no big deal. He showed up a little after 5:00 which is fine. He finished cleaning the carpets alone in 45 minutes. 3 bedrooms, hallway and living room. The carpets were wet, not damp. I asked him if he could suck up the water over in one room and the hallway again and he said ok. Less than a minute he was done. It was still very wet and he went over the back bedroom again. Much better for that room. I paid him and he left. By the way the young man doing the job was very polite. I walked through the house and the carpet was wet. I called the mgr to ask him about it and he was so irritated and condescending. He never answered my questions but just said several times, "your idea of wet and my idea of wet can be two different things! I'll tell you what, if it is still wet tomorrow, i will come out!" He was very unreasonable and very irritated that i even questioned about the carpet being wet. I've had my carpets cleaned several times by another company and sure they are damp, but not wet and spongy. I did not call him back because I don't know how he will react. My carpets are still wet in some spots. It's a shame to hesitate not calling them back to fix it but at this point i wouldn't feel comfortable with him coming out to the house. I only used them because the regular carpet cleaners weren't available and i had to have them cleaned for family coming. Next time I will just wait until the other company available. I would not recommend this business. It is worth it to pay a little more and be satisfied.

They came right out when they said they would and got set up immediately. He got right to work as he said. He told me before he started that he thought he could get the pet stains without using a chemical because it would cost extra. He said if he did have to come back though, he would only charge for the chemicals. It has been a few days now, and the carpets look absolutely wonderful. I am very happy with his service.

The technician came in to assess the situation. He moved furniture; as needed. He immediately got to work. by the time he finished, the areas where he started had begun to wick the stain from the pad. He said, "Oh no! That wont work". He went over it until the stain was gone. Top notch company.

I had had other carpet cleaners in the past but had used The Carpetman exclusively for a number of years and they were loyal. I am sorry that I no longer have a carpet but wanted to let others know that this company in my experience is professional and will do a good job. They keep their appointments, are punctual, and as I say do quality work.
