Description of Work: JH Stricklands Crews are wonderful. I manage 2 apartment communities and they have replaced roofs on both and I have just recently had to have 2 more replaced due to the storm in Aug 16. Crew is nice, Supervisors are always on site. Roofs look great and they make sure they clean up around the area every evening. They are respectful and very honest.

Description of Work: They removed the old roofing material, inspected construction and made minor repairs. Installed new roof vents, felt, and shingles. Cleaned up and removed all excess material and debris. Overall an excellent job only drawback was a weather delay.

+ -1 moreI was referred to Wes Simpson at JH Construction from a friend who works at Mackey Lumber. I figured he wouldn't be referring a shady company because it wouldn't make Mackey Lumber look good. I called Wes and he came out and walked the property. Told him what I wanted done and he got back with me within a day with a detailed quote. I had a friend who used to be a contractor and he said that his quote was pretty reasonable. I called Wes and set up the day to begin. Construction commenced the following week and the whole job took just 2 days. Afterwards, Wes answered all my questions I had and I settled up. I told him that I was going to write a review on Angie's list. I told him maybe somebody else would consider him for future work. I was very satisfied with his work and know the improvements to the house are worth it.
Description of Work: They tore off old roof and installed new 30 year architect shingles. Installed new 15# felt. Replaced all pipe boots. Installed ice and water shield on back porch roof. Installed new cobra rigid vents to ridge of house. Upgraded electrical service from a 100 amp to a 200 amp breaker box. Replaced rotted fascia boards on back and side of house. Replaced a section of soffit board damaged from water. Replaced a piece of decking on roof due to rot.
