Description of Work: ESTIMATE......Called Jarrod for an LABOR ONLY estimate to replace a well pump. I had the new pump ready to go and all he was to supply was labor.

Description of Work: Replaced Well pump, charged air tank.

Description of Work: Our well pump failed to come on when required. I called Owens and a service technician returned my call promptly and said he would arrive around 3 PM. He arrived on schedule and proceeded to diagnose the problem as a faulty power line running from the house to the well. The old line is buried approximately 12" along with the PVC pipe supplying water to the house. A new line was run to correct that problem. While checking the pump to ensure it operated properly it was discovered that the holding tank bladder had a hole. The technician said that he had to get one and would return the next morning to install it. He arrived on schedule and installed the new tank. Everything works fine and we are well pleased with the service and the cost.

Description of Work: My well pump started running all of the time even without the water being used in the house. I thought I had a leak in a pipe somewhere but after not having found a leak I called Owens well and pump. I was looking to make an appointment for them to come out and to my surprise Jarrod was able to come out that same day. He came out and looked around for possible leaks and looked at the pump under the house did some checks. He explained that the problem could be a leak in the conections on the pipes leading to the well pump. He quoted me some prices for the different scenarios that could happen before he started. He started pulling the pipe out looking at each connection for possible leaks. The connections did not appear to have caused the leak. When he got to the actual pump you could see where the water had corroded the seal on the top of the pump. He had the replacement pump and installed it as well as a connection on one of the pipes that he felt was ok but might cause some problems later. He took the time to tell me that I needed to check the pressure of the tank under the house twice a year and even showed me how to do it!

Description of Work: The technician checked the supply tank operation, the operation of the pump and the operation of the pump controls. He replaced the pressure gauge, and the pressure switch.

Description of Work: Install an outside hose bibb.

Description of Work: They put in a couple of cut off valves and installed a whole house filter.
