Description of Work: They came all the way to Newnan, GA & moved us near Atlanta, GA. We have made so many moves throughout our lives. We are near mid 60s, so believe me we should know compared to other movers. I would have to say they were the best we've ever had. They were punctual, super careful, & I was impressed with how they would go out of their way if you asked for anything. I was impressed also with their cleanliness & courteous ways!! Description of Work: Moved us from a two bedroom townhouse in Sandy Springs to a home in Roswell. They did underestimate how much room would be needed for our things and ended up needing to call for another small vehicle to take the rest of our boxes, but it was all resolved and they did a good job. Movers were friendly.

Description of Work: They moved my entire house to my new house about 12 miles away. They were on time and very careful when packing up my stuff so it didn't get damaged. It took longer than anticipated which landed the moving truck in rush hour traffic. After I paid the owner sent me a small refund as he said it was their fault that it took longer and got stuck in traffic so I shouldn't have to pay for the extra time. Talk about customer service. I have never had a service provider give me money back!

Description of Work: They moved my belongings from one condo into their storage. The people moving me out were good. They were to move my things into my new condo about 5 days later. When I called to set this up it took several days to even get a response. The people who moved my stuff into the new condo were average at best. This group is not deserving of the good press they claim. I don't remember what I paid and don't have time or inclination to look it up.

Description of Work: I did not use Hewes, they were prompt and organized. However their method of using vans pulling enclosed trailers seems more suited to a move in GA or contiguous States. There would be too many vans, trailers and staff required to make a move to Texas. The size of staff and fleet is what increased cost above norm. Good people but not a fit for our needs.

Description of Work: I had minor fix it problems and didn't think they would be willing to come all the way to my rental property to fix things up, but they did. Description of Work: I was getting my hardwood floors redone due to water damage. They moved out my great room and dining room furniture and stored them for me for a week. I have several antique pieces as well as other pieces that needed special attention. The move couldn't have gone easier or more professionally. When they returned my furniture, they then moved my master bedroom furniture into the great room so I could have the bedroom floors redone. The price was fair and very reasonable. I'd definitely recommend them for your move, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again myself!

Description of Work: Hewes Family Movers packed up my mother's house in Atlanta on a Friday and delivered it on schedule two days later in Fairfax, VA as requested. As all of the furniture was Chinese antiques, the Hewes crew packed all of the pieces, both big and small, exceptionally well. My mother commented on how everything arrived in excellent condition with no damage at all.
