Outstanding from start to finish. Especially appreciated the help with our local zoning board.

Terrible. A representative came out to provide an estimate. He was unprofessional and decided to leave without providing the estimate.

The garage build went badly. Once the project started, they were numerous delays and poor quality work that had to be redone. The shingles were incorrectly installed and the building had to be completely re-roofed, the siding was not installed according to the plans and had to be reinstalled, the garage door contractor took 4 attempts to get the proper tracks onsite and installed and adjusted, the concrete crew cleaned their tools in my grass, the concrete truck cracked the existing driveway, the concrete truck cleaned out his truck in my front yard and better-bilt left it there for 5 weeks, the landscaping was poorly done, etc. It was an overall lack of attention to detail from top to bottom. His crew never put in a 30 hour work week and when i questioned this I was told that I should have put it in the contract if I expected a 40 hr work week. Really? There is a dispute about the amount billed for the concrete poured and i withheld <1% of the total $30K+ on the final draw. I asked the owner to meet me to resolve the issue but he refused. He became extremely angry and threatened me with a liable/slander lawsuit if I continued to speak my opinion about the build and initially said he would not honor the warranty if I didn't pay. He has still refused to attempt to settle the dispute as of this writing. I am currently waiting for warranty work on the concrete that has recently cracked in 3 places and will have to be repoured. I have had no response from their office to fix this defect after several weeks and email. I would never use their company again nor recommend them to anyone. If you elect to use them, i suggest that you put language in the contract to protect the completion date, materials and expected hours to be worked and have someone inspect and review every step of the project as it is being built. As long as you never question the owner about money or project details, he is nice.

From the first call to the final walk through, Josh Woods was very thorough in answering any questions we had. Getting to see the example storage buildings at their office location was also very beneficial during our planning phase. We very much appreciated the regular communication updating us on the progress being made and patience with us as we went through several drawing drafts and rounds of electrical planning. The contract was contingent on our neighborhood association approving the plans and the drawings provided by Josh were so detailed it made the process go smoothly on our end and get things moving more quickly. Ashley Woods was just as helpful and together they helped us navigate our first project of this size with great confidence the whole way through. All of the people on their staff or contracted for some parts of the project, like painting and electrical, were also very polite and cleaned up after their respective parts of the project. We have had so many compliments on how the finished garage looks and how it looks like it is original to the house. We look forward to enjoying our new garage and plan to recommend BetterBilt to anyone looking to have a garage built!

Excellent to do business with. Punctuality was only delayed because Garage door was out of stock. Price of competitor was cheaper but Better Bilts price was a fair one especially with their quality. Also, the cheaper company said that they would not clean up the area after construction. Better Bilt did clean up. I would use them again for quality building. Josh (THE OWNER) was very good to work with and he did everything he promised.

If you are looking for a contractor to build a garage or other building , then look no further. Josh Woods, the owner of Better Bilt Buildings is a breath of fresh air. He is professional and courteous. My building was exactly on schedule and budget. I could not be happier with this company. I have had multiple building experiences and this was by far one of the best. I give these guys my highest recommendation!
