Let me explain I have been reluctant to write this review. The owners are delightful people and seemed so sincere but THEY don't paint and sure as h*** don't supervise. I've waited months in hopes my level of frustration and disappointment would diminish. Unfortunately, it only smolders. We upgraded to Sherwin Williams Emerald paint, in order to ensure the best results. Their 'professional' painters painted everything they said they would; the ceilings, walls, woodwork and doors. That's ALL surfaces, to include speckled floors, counter tops, door knobs, trim around ceiling fans, etc. There was NO prep-work. We now have cobwebs and dust balls embedded in very good paint, on all surfaces. Roller and brush marks are prominent in many areas; especially the ceiling in our kitchen and eating area. They had requested half payment before the job was finished. No problem. We expected professional results. It seems to us, a 'professional' would KNOW what imperfections to look for and the areas to clean-up. Yes, we called them back to repaint, repair and clean-up three or four times. We finally paid them off, to be finished with them. Southern 'Perfection' isn't even average.

The gentleman that completed the quotation was on time and professional The painters were on time, polite and efficient on the day they completed the pressure washing of my home On the day they were scheduled to paint, they arrived on time, were professional, cleaned up after the job was completed, and made sure I inspected their work before they left for the day The job was completed sooner than what was quoted.

Paint crew fell off ladder broke in the back door, door frame was destroyed; broke several sprinkler heads, left several holes in lawn where the painters dug out to level ladder, moved landscape borders to use to support ladders. The paint and repaired trim work looks good. The backdoor was replaced by company; other items were left undone because I was completely frustrated by their lack of care for my property.

Overall they did a great job of painting the house itself, but there were some issues with painting the front door. The door was not primed before painting, so the old door color showed through the new paint. However, they were very good about coming out three different times to correct the paint on the front door, and their customer service was excellent. I would recommend them for exterior painting.

I was extremely happy with the job they did. I was shocked over the price that they had given to stain the deck and I told them I did not feel comfortable paying the $300 that they had quoted and offered them to take $350. The incident that had happened after the job was completed was that my neighbor complained when they were spraying the deck an over spray had occurred and got on his car. I had called the owner and he came out to look at the damage and did not respond to any more calls after the visit. I had looked at the car and did not see anything on it. My neighbor is taking them to court. I would hire them again in a minute, although the circumstances with my neighbor would prevent that from happening right now. I have graded the company on how my grades would have been prior to the neighbors claims.

Southern Perfections did a great job at a reasonable price. They send a large crew so the job can be finished in one day which I liked. They also sent a full crew out the day before to pressure wash and prep the house. They definitely have attention to detail and are very knowledgeable.

I got 15 quotes from painters on Angie's List and other local places. After the Angie's List discount, Southern Perfection was near the bottom as far as cost goes. Not the very bottom, but very close. These guys did a great job. They put primer on spots that I thought needed some without complaint. After the job was done they touched up all the spots that I complained about without any hassle. Anthony and his team all spoke great English and were extremely professional. I have absolutely no problems recommending them to someone else to use. From a scale of 1 - 10 I'm probably a level 8 guy as far as being picky about workmanship and I'm satisfied with the work.

I just don't like the fact that they left junk everywhere. I didn't call them back to do the interior because I didn't want them to leave a mess again.

Too pricey!

Excellent! They rescheduled us when a family emergency resulted in no one being home to meet them, which was nice. Also, they came in $100 under the estimate, and were friendly, professional, and most of all FAST! They arrived ahead of schedule, which to me is unheard of and awesome, did the work faster than estimated, charged me less than estimated,and were always courteous.

IT IS A FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS WITH FIVE BROTHERS. I LIKED THEM ENOUGH TO HIRE THEM FOR A SECOND JOB. THEY ARE CUSTOMER FOCUSED. THEY SEEM TO WANT TO DO THE RIGHT THING. THE PEOPLE FOLLOW UP ON THEIR WORK.

WHEN WE DISCOVERED A SLIGHT PROBLEM THEY WERE GOOD AT COMING BACK TO CORRECT IT.

I GOT A FREE ESTIMATE. THEY CAME ON TIME. THEY FINISHED THE WORK AND CLEANED UP. THEY DID A GOOD JOB-NO TOUCH UP WORK, THEY DID NOT HAVE TO COME BACK AND REDO ANYTHING.

THEY WERE VERY THOROUGH.
