 + 1 moreAverage grass cut and lawn trim, but that's all I needed or wanted. They have done other services in the past and work was exceptional and not too pricey. (i.e. - planted trees and shrubs and did some garden improvements)
Description of Work: Cut grass and edged lawn.

 + -1 moreRonald Goodman takes care of the Zeon Zoysia sod he and his crew laid He does other things asneeded to keep my front yard looking good. He pulled a pine branch out of the pond and alerted me to the fact tjat thed liner was punctured. I have PSP and it has affeced my speech and balance, and I depend on Mr. Goodman to do what I can't. My rhusband and i got his services in 2008, and I have used them ever since. Goodman Lawn and Landscape is the best lawn service I've ever had.
Description of Work: Semi-monthlly mowing ,fertilizing and weed control as meeded. removing dead shrubs, spreading pine straw.

 + -1 moreGoodman keep me informed every step of the way. They were on time. The front yard looks good now ; I enjoy looking at it and have had several compliments on it.
Description of Work: I had asked three providers for estimates on sodding the front yard. They had all done work before here and I was familiar with their work. One doesn't do this work any more and Goodman was the lowest bidder. He mows this yard and will continue to maintain it. First, they sprayed the existing vegetation to kill it, two weeks before installation of sod. Put a truckload of screened top soil in washed out areas. Laid Zeon Zoysia sod, and watered it. Put sprinklers in place and taught me the water requirements of the new sod.

Description of Work: My previous reviews list the work Ron and his crew do every two weeks. In addition they do other related things upon my request, i.e.,this time he removed a fallen pine limb that was too heavy for me. I had used this service previously but canceled in favor of another who was just starting out. It wasn't on Angie's List but a friend recommended. The new man didn't know much about lawns and plants and charged more. I went back to Goodman Lawn and Landscape and have been happy the I did so, but he has gone up in price to $125/monthly, understandable in view of the price of gasoline

 + -1 moreGoodman mowed the front yard, edged, and blew off the driveway, carport, front porch, and walk every two weeks. When I asked, about every other time, he also mowed the backyard and used a weedeater back there. The back is mainly a natural area and the area to be mowed is small. I usually have tools and hoses spread around back there, so didn't ask for to be mowed on schedule.
Description of Work: Ron Goodman tended our lawn from 2008 until 6/30/2011. He came every two weeks year round and billed $110.00/mo.He did everything I asked and did a good job, with his employees. I have no complaints. As of the first of July of this year, I hired a new lawn service but not because of any dissatisfaction with Goodman Lawn. The new man was just starting his business and came highly recommended.

 + -1 moreSee above paragraph. My husband (now deceased) and I got Goodman's name from Angie's List, along with two others who we interviewed and asked for references. We looked at the yards in our town that Goodman was caring for and were favorably impressed.
Description of Work: Goodman Lawn and Landscape has been servicing our lawn since 2008, at a charge of $110.00 per month. He and his men mow and edge the lawn, and blow off the carport, driveway and walk in the front yard every two weeks. He will mow the small area in the back yard when I ask at no extra charge. I only request the back mowed about once a month or every six weeks. (I don't feel like moving the hoses, etc., any oftener!) The quality of the work is excellent, except that they blow the pine straw too deep around the plants. I know I have too many pine trees shedding needles, but it's not good for the plants to have the mulch too deep. Ron Goodman provides the best lawn service we've had.

 + -1 moreI have had a pretty good experience with this company. The only thing is, that sometimes they do too good of a blowing job and they blow off some flowers. The people that come out are prompt and courteous. The owner comes himself and does the mowing. He is the one I deal with the most and he is very pleasant.
Description of Work: They come out and mow every other week. They also spray the lawn for weeds and blow things off.

 + 3 moreWe are extremely pleased with his work. He was prompt in his initial response to our call and arrived when scheduled. He provided a good explanation of his process and gave us a list of costs for various things we were interested in having done. Since we are on a budget, he was very happy to help provide what we needed at a very reasonable price. We are planning to use him again for the balance of projects we want done. We would recommend him very highly.
Description of Work: Ron Goodman cleared our back yard then sprayed herbicide to kill all the growth. He also blew the debris off our roof, cleared the gutters, back deck, and the driveway.
