+ -1 moreThe invoice he presented to me is for the work the sub did, but to be paid to Steve and his company. I never knew he was going to sub this out. Because of the incorrect invoice he tried to bill me with Steve never even polished any marble in my home. I paid him the $1,000, but we can not come to an agreement on what the remaining balance is. I offered $700 but he wants $1,100.00. A lot of what he has billed me for is incorrect. He listed 7 things under bathroom demolition and hauling. Of those 7 things, 6 were already done before the work started. He also tried to add an extra $200 to cut and install a tile that he was already paid for in the first bill. This experience was not a good one. The workers were inexperienced and they didn't even use drop cloths for this repair work.
Description of Work: He was hired to polish our marble foyer and bathroom. While he was here he shared with me he had a colleague that could repair the leak in my marble shower (he does not do that work). Instead of referring someone to me he ended up subbing the work out which I was not made aware of.
