Description of Work: The actual work performed and the man that did the work was excellent. |Issues: 1. Initial service was scheduled. Worker arrived late, even after calling ahead. Waited for second man to arrive to evaluate repair needed. Cursory examination indicated second trip was needed, recommended replacement of drain and pipe, including some minor cutting into ceiling below. Had to schedule a second trip, no actual work done on 1st call. Total duration of call (not counting wait for 2nd man) 15 min. Repair estimate $450. 2. On second trip, actual disassembly of train showed that only the drain itself needed to be replaced, no additional parts, or demolition. This diagnosis took about 10 min. Actual repair, cleaning, replacement of drain, about 15-20 min. Part (drain), estimated $20. Repair cost: $396.56, after application of $100 discount (purchased at cost of $39), $335.56. |As stated, the quality of the work done, and the man who did the work - excellent. However, I do feel the work could have been done on the initial service call, and that the price charged was excessive. The work order I received does not indicate so, but I feel that I was probably charged 2 'trip' charges, and that the initial service call was made with the intention of making a second service call. No mention of trip charges was made during any email or conversation with Arrowhead. I am very satisfied with the work done, but disappointed by what I feel was an excessive charge. I agonized over this review, because I wanted to be fair to the man who did the work, but I cannot escape my overall impression of the job. I would call them again for repairs, but I would be more cautious of timing and charges.

Description of Work: I purchased outdoor hose faucet replacement for 89.00. They told me they would need to drill a large hole from inside my kitchen through my kitchen cabinets out the outside and try and remove old faucet that way. I would not even consider this at any cost for an outdoor garden hose faucet. I asked just the same if they would do this for 89.00 and the answer was of course no because it would require so much labor along with destruction of my kitchen in my opinion. They would not refund my money and spent a total of 5 minutes at my property for the entire visit.

Description of Work: I bought their deal for an outdoor faucet replacement since ours leaks a little. Everything went smooth with scheduling and I got a phone call reminder 1 hour prior. Turned out in order to replace the outdoor faucet they had to get to it from the inside. That meant making holes into our basement walls and ceiling trying to find the faucet piping leading to the outdoor faucet. That meant a much bigger project than anticipated and additional costs in repairing the damage done to my walls. I would need to hire a separate company to fix those damages since Arrowhead Plumbing doesn't do sheetrock repairs. We weren't prepared for a much bigger project and the additional costs associated with it so we had to decline the scheduled service and use of the deal.

Description of Work: I purchased the $100 worth of plumbing service for $39. I want my money back as I received no services nor will I receive future services from this plumber. | |I scheduled the appointment for them to come fix a shower faucet that had a busted ring and was leaking when the shower was on. We knew the problem and how to fix it; however, we were afraid that something would possibly go wrong as we just purchased the house and thought it would be easier to have a plumber fix it. Especially, with the deal that was purchased. I was willing to pay that small price for the $11 fix, mainly, for peace of mind. Needless-to-say, that was not the case. | |The guy came out and met my husband. The guy was at our house for 5 mins total. He confirmed what was wrong with the shower faucet, told my husband it would be an ADDITIONAL $145 and he would have it fixed in less than 30 minutes. My husband stated that we purchased the Angie's List deal and it should go towards that price, he said no it wouldn't. Plumber tech left our house and my husband went to Home Depot purchased the part for $11 and had it fixed in 5 minutes. | |This 5 minute visit from Arrowhead Plumbing company was a complete rip-off. They completed NO service for us and we want our money back. I will never buy another deal like this.

Description of Work: Made contact, set appointment. Employee showed up as scheduled. Evaluated the job, presented alternate repair if original repairs did not fix the problem. Employee was professional, excellent attitude, highly skilled.

Description of Work: Leaking toilet repaired and sink repaired. Prompt and the company helped out big time by coming out quickly to get repairs done before a birthday party that day. Would recommend this company to m friends/family.

Description of Work: Went extremely well. My toilet is so old, it needs to be rebuilt. For a little more, I can have a new one installed. We have scheduled an appointment for this next week. Very professional, considerate and courteous, and knowledgeable. Will definitely use their services again.

Description of Work: I wanted to get two outside hose bibbs repaired. The contractor worked it out with me to repair one and replace the other. This was almost ideal for me. The cost was within budget and work was done quickly. I am very happy with the service and would definately have them out to do more work.
