It went very well. Leo showed up ahead of schedule, did a great job. Needed some challenging extra parts, and he had them on the truck. He did a great job of improvising when necessary, and saved me money in the process. Very happy with their service.

I had a plumbing problem at my home for a while, I been putting band aid on it for a while. I was trying to figure if I wanted to do the work myself or get a local handy man to do it. Last week the leak was getting progressively worst and I was tired of fooling with those 2 spigots outside. I had been reading review on line of some of our local plumber. After reading a few review, I was concern about the authentically of the review. The comments have seen to be bit over glorified by the writers to make the company look good. I guess this haunt me for a while until my wife suggested about enrolling us on Angie List. I read comments and all the stuff that was on the intranet before I enroll. But to have comments which the writer actually was scrutinize for actuality was important to me. I search for local plumber within my local area; I selected 3 companies but I only call 2. One was a large company and 2 smaller one. After drilling back on the larger company review, I spotted some issue on their reviews that reminded me the difficulties dealing with larger company. I decided to skip them and persuade the 2 smaller one. The first company I call was very pleasant, but they only gave me their hourly estimate quotation over the phone. They didn?t mention anything about coming over and doing an estimate on what it cost to do the job. In my opinion, hourly rate can be troubling when you have no idea what the job may entail. Especially the parts and complication of the job, I would had been blindsided if I agree to let them do it. The second company was Arrowhead Plumbing, I decided on them base off their review and their motto ?do it right the first time?. One review that really clinches it for me was this gentleman wrote how Leo walks him over the phone to fix a garbage disposal problem simply by buying a $10 tool from Lowes or Home Depots. When I call, Kevin picks up the phone and answer as much as he can about my plumbing problem. Afterward Leo took over and answers all my question, he was polite, informative and friendly. We set an appointment for the next day around 1pm. around 12p he called and apologize that he had an emergency and was running late. He?ll be by at 2:30p and apologize. At 2:30p he was at my house, he didn?t knock on my door but call me that he is was outside. With every step both Leo and Kevin was extremely respectful of our house and us. Leo personality is so friendly and personable you automatically feel the sincerity of this person and his respect for his profession. In short, our plumbing ? to do list? for him to fix grew, we ask him to do more than we originally planned. He put together a contract on what need to be done and the total cost. There wasn?t any money up front needed or cost variance. It was a firm contract. We schedule the service for Friday; he was willing to work around my wife appointment. He methodically and precisely took apart and replaces everything that has to be repaired. He encourage us to ask him question, he was more than willing offer answer and educate anything concerning plumbing. Late during the day he was just finishing up installing my outside gas line when we weren?t getting any gas. I call the gas company to come out; the gas company operator said that it would be around 8 to 12 o?clock before they?ll be by. I told Leo to go home and we can handle this until Monday. Leo insists on coming by Saturday to inspect the new gas line and to light my hot water heater. He wanted to ensure that everything was working as suppose to. On way home Leo notices the gas company truck, he turns his car around and assist the gas company man until I receive gas and everything was done right. Just like his motto ?do it right the first time?. I am so elated with Leo and Kevin work as well with Angie List. I will not have any reservation referring Leo and Kevin for any plumbing work in the future.

Excellent service & workmanship. I called around 8:30 AM about a leaking water heater & set up appointment for arrival between 12 PM & 3 PM with a one-hour advance call notification. Stacy called a few minutes after 12 & arrived within the hour. He was very nice, very knowledgeable, & answered all of my questions. He replaced the water heater & expansion tank, as well are replaced the gas line to bring everything up to code. He thoroughly explained operation of the new water heater, showed me how to light the pilot & adjust the temperature, if needed. The charge was for exactly what was quoted to me over the phone. He also checked the regulator that brings water into the house, & took the time to explain how we can monitor that in the future. I was impressed overall & would certainly use Arrowhead Plumbing again, and would highly recommend Stacy.

Hard to get an appointment for estimate.

The problem was that my Kenmore washing machine ceased to deliver more than a trickle of cold water in rinse cycles, and a mechanic checking it out earlier had determined that it was a plumbing problem rather than a defective machine. The plumber and his assistant arrived promptly at the agreed time. He quickly diagnosed the fact that the water pressure of my house was far too high, suggesting a partially blocked pipe. He and his assistant disappeared into the low crawl space where they identified it, saw that it had been leaking into the ground for quite some time, and replaced it (which must have been very awkward, uncomfortable and hot). They then came back into the house, tested the now fixed washing machine, and cleaned up all around it. When I was presented with the bill, it turned out to be lower than the original estimate, which was another nice surprise. They are both young and very energetic, and fun to have around.

I was extremely pleased during my phone call for service to get advice on how to increase the water flow in a bathroom sink faucet--it was so simple we should have thought of it...unscrewing the end and rinsing out the filter. He was on time, as I recall, and we spent some time discussing the problem in the 25-year old shower. I think the part is a mixing valve which controls the water temperature and it's not working well. Unfortunately, the replacement part is extremely expensive and the labor was about the same as the part, so I haven't proceeded with the repair. He did check out the toilet and found it needed a new flapper, which he installed. He fixed a leak under the kitchen sink. At first he thought the Insinkerator might have to be replaced, but found it was just a matter of replacing the hose. Overall, it was rather inexpensive and I was totally pleased with the result.

They were very efficient and they cleaned-up thoroughly. Everything works well and they offered me a reasonable price. I would highly recommend them.

The motto of Arrowhead Plumbing is : "If it's worth doing. It's worth doing right." Leo exemplifies this motto. The quality of his work is outstanding. He is very thorough. He knew exactly what needed to be done. He is reliable and dependable and takes pride in his work. He is very knowledgable and is a pleasure to work with. We are very pleased with his work and we recommend him highly.

He showed up on time. The problem required some digging. He was careful and explained everything he was doing. He showed me the vale to turn off the water from the irrigation system. He checked the water going into the house to make sure there were no other leaks. He checked the water pressure after he finished. A very positive experience.

I live out of state and it was so easy to deal with Arrowhead plumbing. Derrick was a pleasure to work with, and was very on top of things. He kept me appraised of the whole job. Well done!

Had a whole house clog and called Arrowhead because of the reviews here. Left a voice mail and shortly afterward the clog broke loose and everything drained. Derrick, the owner, called just a few minutes after that and I told him what had happened and he directed me to fill all sinks and tubs and then to release all the stoppers at once and to flush the toilets and see if everything worked and to call him back and let him know. I did as instructed and everything was fine, I called him back to let him know and he asked if there was anything else I needed. There were a couple of other things that needed addressing and we scheduled a time that Friday for Leo to come to the house. Leo showed up on time and replaced the main water shutoff and pressure regulator and cut out a leaky drain joint under the kitchen and replaced the drain lines in that area. Derrick and Leo were both professional and pleasant to deal with and I will use them in the future as I have a couple of other minor issues that will need attention at some point.

Unlike other plumbers we contacted, Derrick Bell, owner of the company, called us back immediately and scheduled a visit promptly. He quickly understood what we wanted and set up the installation, confirming cost ahead of time. Our initial email was sent on a Tuesday and the work was completed by Thursday. The installer, Leo, arrived on time, talked to me about the work, and did an excellent and efficient job, consulting and cleaning up. When Derrick inspected the work, he checked with a plumbing inspector and had one part of the work redone in order to comply with recent code changes. This was all completed in consultation with us. As a result of this transaction we feel strong confidence in Arrowhead Plumbing and endorse their work fully.

This is a rare occurrence in that I am writing a review of a company that I didn't actually use to provide a service. I know that may sound funny but let me explain. My garbage disposal stopped working over the weekend and I began researching plumbers on Angie's List in order to have one come out and examine the problem for me. I chose Arrowhead because of its strong reviews and the fact that in their description they clearly deal with garbage disposals. So, I called Arrowhead on Monday morning and explained the problem to the gentleman who answered the phone. When I explained the sound the disposal was making, the fact that nothing appered to be moving, and walked him through the series of steps I had taken to try to correct the problem, he asked me to take a look at the disposal and tell him the name of the manufacturer. He thought I might be dealing with an Insinkerator. He was correct. He then told me that he wanted to make sure it wasn't simply a jam. So, he advise that I go to Home Depot or Lowe's a buy a jam buster wrench for less than $10 and attempt to use it. He then explained how to do it. He quickly followed up his explanation with another explanation: he wasn't trying to avoid work or avoid coming out to my house. In fact, he was more than happy to do it. But, he worried that he would have to charge me a service call to address a simple problem that he believed I may be able to fix for far less money if I did it on my own. He then told me that in owning his own business in the past, that he found customers appreciated being told how to fix a simple issues on their own rather than paying a lot more money for a plumbing service that they really didn't need. I told him that I understood and that I appreciated his candor. And, as far as this customer is concerned, his assumption regarding good customer service was spot on. After buying the wrench and following the simple steps he provided, the garbage disposal began working again. I truly appreciated his honesty and willingness to help me find a simple solution. His honesty let me know that Arrowhead is a company that I can trust for future plumbing issues. I intend to call them the very next time something arises and will know that they are providing a service I truly need if a simpler, homeowner-provided solution cannot be determined. Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you Arrowhead.

I had Derrick and his team assess a botched up job performed by the previous owner and an unlicensed handyman, and like the professionals that they are, they quickly made recommendations to remedy my situation. I wanted all of the plumbing in my basement re-done and water heater replaced. He gave me options! It wasn't about the most expensive route. Derrick helped me assess the pro's and con's to every option presented-- much appreciated. He even had a Gwinnett county inspector swing by to help him assess the disaster that I acquired, before giving him a penny or signing a contract. Arrowhead plumbing is an Ace of Aces and you shouldn't think twice about giving them your business. Derrick also installed a tankless water heater. Aside from it looking good, having endless hot water is the smartest thing anybody could every do. Energy efficient and convenient--Consider it. Lastly, Derrick made me feel so comfortable that I didn't have an issue going on a business trip and leaving my pregnant wife behind to oversee operations. He kept me in the know with constant text and voicemail messages-- great communicator! After my experience with them, I decided to give them more work. Spent another $1300 to address the older plumbing in other parts of the house. Again, you can't put a price tag on "peace of mind." Use Arrowhead Plumbing!

House water pressure regulator had failed. They replaced the Unit for $275. Before that, I had purchased an expansion tank and hot water heater relief value leak thinking that was my only issue. Asked the plumber if he would also install those two items for me while he was here. Felt his price was high but had it done. Later found the expansion tank air pressure needed to be set properly. Talked with Derrick, the owner and he responded immediately to my location. Installed a new expansion tank, checked the water pressure and refunded me $100. Derrick was very prompt and professional. He handled my issue with great courtesy and very fairly. My regulator, hot water heater blow off and expansion tank work perfectly now. My kudos to Derrick and I do recommend him to others and will use him again in the future.

We were so glad to get this work done. We will gladly call Arrowhead Plumbing again if the need appears. All of the workers were courteous and thorough in their tasks. It was very pleasant having them here. Derrick, Leo and Paul, the operator of the supply line replacement, were very nice, funny at times and pleasant to have work on our plumbing. The job was done very well and there is still no water anywhere in the basement, in the walls, or any puddles outside the house. we are pleased with their work.

The job was completed far beyond our expectation. First of all they were prompt in their response to my call. Second, they performed the work without having to tear up either my driveway or front sidewalk. They also found two additional problems connected to the plumbing in our house and fixed them promptly. Considering, all that was wrong, they had the parts necessary to repair everything that needed repair at a reasonable price. Their work was completed within a very reasonable time frame.

Contacted Arrowhead plumbing and talked with Derrick. He was professional and he spoke to me about my need and my options. He wasn't pushy and his pricing structure was simple. We decided not to go with a rebuild on our master toilet and go with a new one. He informed us that we could buy one from Home Depot and he would pick it up for us. We set a date and time. He later had to move our appointment to the next day but he was polite and professional which we didn't mind. The day of the appointment one of his employees called and told us that he's on his way to pick up the toilet. He then called to tell us he's on his way. He arrived within the hour that Derrick said they would arrive. Stacey installed the toilet and rebuilt the kids toilet. The new toilet needed an additional spacer for the drain. The previous owners did not do it correctly. This added to our cost. Toilet was not included with the cost in this review.

No problems. I've used them before and they are prompt and speedy.

I had a leak, a plumber was sent out, he didn't find the leak but charged me a trip charge. I called my contractor who found the leak. I was very disappointed.

We knew our water heater was on its way out. We began pricing the job. Derrick with Arrowhead explained every part of the process and equipment in detail so we could decide what size and brand water heater we might want, how much it would cost and why. He not only took the time to give us all information we might want or need to make our decision but his estimate beat the other bids. The installation was scheduled promptly (he was concerned about our water heater failing after he looked at it during the estimate). Stacey was the tech that arrived the morning of the install. He was on time and very professional. He completed the job, cleaned up and we now have TONS of hot water.

Very friendly and professional. Arrived on time. Seemed to know what he was doing and was willing and able to explain what he thought was necessary and why. Even had a nice follow up call.

2 days ago I called Derrick how to hook up a shampoo bowl in my home he was able to do it in a couple of days Leo was here by 8:15 when he said he would be .... he explained to me everything that he would do and then he got it done within a couple of hours. Leo is very respectful and very helpful diligent and professional thanks Leo a bunch! Derrick qouted me a price and stood by it i would most definitely use them again! Thanks Guys!

Excellently. I called and Leo was here in less than an hour (and I didn't say it was an emergency, which it wasn't). At first Leo said the toilet tank was cracked and I needed a new toilet. Then he looked again and realized the crack was not all the way through the tank and that all I needed was a new mechanism in the tank and a new supply line and shut off valve. He finished the work in about 30 minutes. Astonishing!
