this was a horrible experience! the owner originally said he would charge me $1300. i insisted that he come out to the property to see the driveway and the house and my property. when he did, he said he would charge me $1800. he wanted $900 deposit and would take a check. he wanted the additional $900 in cash when they did the work. he said they would come with 3 10 foot trucks. they came with 2 10 foot trucks and one had a flat tire. i explained to him that my grandmothers antique bow front china cabinet was extremely fragile and asked him to be sure it was wrapped really well and to be extremely careful with it. i had someone at the house while they were loading the trucks. i was at the new house getting ready for them to bring my belongings. when they arrived at my new home and opened the trucks, i was appalled. my stuff was not packed carefully, it was just thrown in to the truck. when i asked about my china cabinet, he tried not to answer me. after the third time i asked them to please bring it in to the house, he told me that they had broken one of the pieces of glass out of it as well as broken one of the back legs. he said he would replace the glass and fix the leg. i explained that it was an antique and the glass was hand blown. he did not see the difference in some new glass as opposed to old glass. they also moved boxes from one of the rooms in to a closet and left them. the refused to move my armoire as it was difficult to get out of the upstairs. it is still at the old house. i told him after seeing the broken china cabinet that i was not going to pay him the additional $900. he threatened to call the police on me and he also threatened to just move everything back in to his trucks and leave with it. he is a large man and i am an older woman and he was very intimidating. they put one of my cabinets in my shed upside down with stuff in it and several boxes were just dumped in the house upside down even though they said "fragile". they also broke an antique cut glass bowl. i have not finished unpacking everything, so in all likely hood there is more broken stuff. i have tried to call and text him since last friday but i believe he has blocked my number as it goes straight to voice mail and he will not return my calls or texts. he told me over and over that he is a man of his word and a man of integrity. i have spoken with Roger with RCFurniture restoration in Cleveland, GA and he told me that the glass alone has to be special order and will cost between $375 and $500. that does not include his labor or repairing the broken leg. i would also like for him to provide a copy of my contract with him. he has ignored my requests for that.

It was absolutely amazing very professional the owner Ron Peebles was extremely kind and caring he listened to exactly what we needed. I did shop around and this was the absolute best price with the best quality highly recommend.
