They gave me a report that was safe and okay. We needed to do minimal work to keep things safe. No black mold found. About 4 months later, Iâ ve found black mold everywhere. On May 6, 2024, I paid $1,676 to Mold Test Company for a VOC air test, which included an additional fee for a one-week turnaround time on my analysis report. It took them 11 days to send me the report. So much for that extra fee for expedited results. During that time, I spoke with two different company representatives who both told me that my results were late due to a FedEx shipping delay. I have this in writing, in a text message that one of the reps sent me. I found the FedEx shipping details which showed that my air sample arrived at the lab the day after it was shipped. There was no shipping delay. They lied. On May 24, I wrote to MTC asking for a refund because not only did they fail to deliver my results within the promised seven days (for which I paid an additional fee) but two of their employees blatantly lied to me. I included documentation of everything â ¦ the text message, the FedEx shipping info and the date when my report was finally delivered to me. It has now been ten days since I sent that message. I havenâ t received a response to my e-mail, an acknowledgement that they even received it or a refund. If youâ re considering using Mold Test Co for anythingâ ¦donâ t.

The technician that came to our house was very knowledgeable and polite. However, once we received the results from The Mold Test, the company seemed more like a timeshare. We started getting calls every day from third-party companies wanting us to buy do-it-yourself mold, mold removal kits, and equipment. Our family is going through a true crisis, and this is not the way we would expect a business to handle things. I would not recommend this company because of the constant calls after the service was completed.

I explained what I wanted tested. They tested what â was included in the priceâ when they arrived, which was not all I wanted and was never told what I wanted would not all be included in the price. So, value of service went down immediately. They seem to have a vested interest in a company that sells a mold killer you spray yourself. They offered a number of times to transfer me after explaining my results. Each time I said to give me their number and that Iâ d call them if interested. They finally gave me the number. Next thing I know, that other company is calling me, because they were told by The Mold Company to call me. Not cool.

Everyone that I spoke to was very informative. Ms. Erica listened to my concerns and was able to get me on the schedule very fast. I can't remember the name of the technician who came out but he was extremely helpful with explaining what he was doing. He also explained everything to me from start to finish. I also spoke with someone from team financial team about my options when it came to finalizing everything. Extremely helpful. They were very professional and I trust their results and what they did to get to their conclusion. They emailed a very long and detailed report and also gave us an affordable solution we can do to get the mold out of our home.

They responded swiftly and once they heard my situation were able to give me VERY TRUE guidance. My apartment is completely contaminated and I only know this because of the tests I had done. The complex has not told me anything even upon my asking. Go with this company, itâ s worth the money and many resources that they have.

called to get mold test in crawl space under house. tester who came out refused to go into crawl space because of a small amount of standing water 10 feet from opening. tested inside my home and sent me a bill. at the same time i was sent a monitor that i did not order and was charged $399 which i did not authorize. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

Overall service was good. They were prompt, responsive and professional. However, the price seemed a bit high for what was delivered. I still didn't know where the mold toxin issue stemmed from. I was instructed to hire a restoration company. The company I called wanted to do there own mold test before addressing an issue.

I really appreciate the professionalism of the company. They kept me informed as I went through the process. They gave me the best tools to make my decision to use them, start to finish. When I got my results I was floored! I knew I had mold. I didn't know how bad it was or how much it was hurting my health. They put me in touch with a mold Lawyer because I wasn't too go after the complex for gross negligence. I really appreciate the help of this company in getting the results needed to seek legal action against my apt complex.
