Edward Zumman

Oh, I do like Eddie. He is very good and just so nice. He painted about 2500 square feet worth of space for me I would say. He does great quality work and if I remember correctly I may have found him on Angie's List.

Edward returned my call promptly and came by for an estimate. He submitted an amount and I requested a revision to include painting the ceiling. The revision was given over the phone and not in a printed estimate which was something I regret because at the end of the job he exceeded that estimate amount by a significant amount. The plaster work was not done well, the damage can still be seen. The doors he painted were not done well, were sticky, and have already started to chip. There was lots of paint spilled on my wood floors which he did not clean. Other than that, the painting was done well. The work took three full days, he arrived early with an assistant and was very nice. It was over some of the hottest days of the summer. After he left, I did call and try to ask him to come back but my call was not returned. I would have preferred he come back and fix the plaster, fix the doors, and clean the floors. These things were not obvious until the paint dried.

Outstanding, he was on time, accurate with his estimations, worked quickly and cleanly.

They came to fix it and told me that I would have to stay elsewhere while they were doing the work. I came to check in during the first day and the boss was not there. His assistant said he wasn't coming back. I complained to Eddie, the boss, that it wouldn't have taken as long if they had both been working. He explained that he had to go to another bid. He had said that he preferred cash. I told him that I preferred to pay via check. We compromised to pay part cash and part check. I asked him for a bill but he never gave me one. I wasn't going to push the issue. They finished Wednesday about noon. The work is good. Now that I know how they work, I would hire them again.

Ed called me the same day I contacted him and came over to give me an estimate. Once we'd decided to hire him, he was able to come in and paint within one week. He and his helper arrived at the time he said he would, and they both were friendly and courteous. Their work is professional quality, and we are completely satisfied with the job they did, and we would (and will) hire Ed again in a heartbeat.

I LOVED THAT HE WAS VERY REASONABLY PRICED. I HAVE RECOMMENDED HIM TO MANY FRIENDS. HE WORKED VERY QUICKLY, AND WAS NOT SLOPPY. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE WAY THE APARTMENT LOOKS.

MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY WAS POSITIVE. THEY CAME WHEN I CALLED, AND DID THE WORK THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO. THEN THEY CLEANED UP WHEN THE JOB WAS DONE.
