Martin's Tree Service

We had used Martin's before and were very satisfied with the work and cleanup. Martin's quote for the job was 1/4 the quote of a very highly rated service. The project took two days, and again, we are very satisfied with the work and cleanup. James and his crew were prompt and very professional.

After provider gave us an estimate, they said they would put us on a 3 week waiting list. Two days later, we were called and told they would be out the next day as they had cancellations. Then we were called back and told that due to a storm overnight, they had emergency calls to make and it would be later on when they got to us. That was the last we heard from them, even though we tried to contact them again and our calls were not returned. 3 months later, we gave up and called another Tree Service which responded quickly.

Needed 6 or 7 trees cut down on my property so called Martin's tree service for an estimate. as I had used them once before a year or so back. He said that he would come the following day. He didn't show up! I again called his number and left a message on his answering machine.. ....He didn't respond to that either. I can recall the time we used him a year or so before that we had to put up with his workers foul mouths and cussing! I had to get involved in getting other quotes for the job...I didn't look forward to that as I knew that I'd probably have to miss my own work to be available to any others that might or may not come to give an estimate ..I'm so glad that I did. Now I know that real honest tradespeople do exist...( although very rare it seems) Ended up using Johnny Appleseed tree service and will always know that he will treat us honestly and with a courteous nature and a fair price Never would I ever recommend Martins tree service

I had used them them a couple of days before to cut down 3 pines tress and paid $1100 for that. They did a good job there, even though they were very late. The tress stump guy they hired to do the stumps was on time and did very well for the price he charged.Martin's Tree Service showed up the following Monday, July 30 2012, very late again, to cut down an oak tree for the charge of $800 this time.They weren't there 30-45 minutes when the guy in the tree doing the cutting started screaming and cursing at the guys on the ground telling them they were lazy and he wouldn't work with them. He climbed back down and every one left. They came back the following day to finish, but left pieces of tree all over. I requested to keep most of tree for firewood and figured for the price they charged they could at least stack the wood. Now I have to pay my lawn guy extra to clean up the mess.I do not believe they will get a call back from me.
