Jayman's Lawn Care

All services for this visit as well as all previous were completed on time with high quality. I would recommend Jayman's lawn care to anyone.

At 5:47 p.m. on 06/26/2013 I received the following text from Mr. Jay Kurtz "This is Jay Kurtz with Jayman's lawncare. My office manager set up an appointment for us to meet tonight however I have to cancel. I am so sorry for last minute but have a truck that just went down and have to deal with getting it going. Can we try tomorrow? Again sorry for last minute At 6:12 p.m. on 06/26/2013 I responded to Mr. Kurtz text with "I understand. Yes a reschedule for tomorrow around 6:30 will work for me. Please let me know if that will work for you as well. The next response I received from Mr. Kurtz was on 06/28/2013 at 4:56 p.m. "Hey this is Jayman. Sorry for delay in getting back to U. Just so I would have an idea of what your yard looked like I drove by today and scoped out the lawn. We can aerate for you, will be 75.00 front and back. Your front has a bare area on a slop that is nothing but rock and dirt. That would not be aerated. My suggestion would be toner son with a zoysia grass. My office manager said you may want some additional work done too. We charge by hour, a 3 man crew at 85.50 per hour for whatever you needed, I hope this was helpful an in sorry I did not get by yesterday." In the text discussion provided above Mr. Kurtz stated he drove by my house to scope out my lawn. I was not home nor privy to his plan of doing so. He also stated he would aerate both the front and back for 75.00. I have a six foot treated dog ear wood board privacy fence with a locked gate. Did Mr. Kurtz look over this fence to see my backyard? If he did he would have noticed the backyard is a naturally wooded area shaded by 6 very large trees and I have NO GRASS back there to be aerated. His quick texting estimate and lack of enthusiasm to meet me and see my entire yard and the other potential work I wanted to have done instantly warrants me to say I will not respond to Mr. Kurtz or do business with him because I'm obviously from the old school where I feel a businessman should at least meet and speak directly with his potential NEW customers instead of texting them. After speaking with a neighbor about this bad experience I was told that he too had in the past made an appt. with Jayman's lawncare for which Mr. Kurtz was a no show.

It went ok. The men were always in a hurry to get done and move on. Because of their rush, they damaged property. Although the owner promised to reimburse me for damages, he has not done so. He keeps promising for over one year. I would not recommend using them because they don't honor their promises.
