BEVERLY'S FLORIST

My wife and I requested to have 51 yellow roses and found they had only 18. We were okay with that and said to add 33 red roses. The bow was to be red. We also asked them to add 2 snap dragons and 1 yellow lily stem. The arrangement arrived with a yellow bow and the roses were bunched together without any clear direction or style. The florist had only 33 roses total not the 51 that we had ordered. Our son sent us a picture of the arrangement and we were surprised at the way the flowers were arranged. We called the owner and explained our dissatisfaction with the way the flowers were arranged. The owner Beverly clearly did not want any complaints and said she had worked with flowers for 50 years. She also said, "You wouldn't know a good looking arrangement if they were right in front of you! With the price ($100) we gave you, you couldn't find a better looking arrangement! If you want me to go and pick them up and give you your money back I will!" Our response was, "The problem was with the way the flowers were arranged not the cost." Her response, "We will just go out and pick them up and give your money back. I don't need your business anyway. Then she hung up." To take the flowers away from my parents was not our intention. Due to the disrespectful attitude of the owner, we called my parents and told them we have decided to send the flowers back.
