Description of Work: I needed assistance in connecting a portable scanner as I could not get the software to work. Come to find out the CD was defective and affordable computers downloaded the software from the company's website and fixed my problem. And the biggest surprise they refused payment!! I shall no doubt reco mmend them to any one needing computer repairs.

+ -1 moreThey were excellent both times. They were relatively inexpensive because of what happened. I think it was probably about 30 bucks each time. They could have charged me a whole lot more but they just said that they really can’t fix it rather than try screw around something that they could not fix. Since they were honest and they charged me reasonable for what they did and they did not try to cheat me I went in the second time. Price wise I think they are about average they are not particularly cheap or smug expensive. It was a fair price. They were quite thorough.

+ -1 moreEverything went great. They were honest, truthful and there was NO pressure or "hard sell." They transferred all data from my old computer to the new one, then wiped old computer clean for disposal. Had the new computer next day.
Description of Work: Went to Hwy. 58 location with my 8-year-old Dell desktop computer. Knew it was outdated, but it was also running slower and slower. They checked it while I waited and diagnosed that hard drive was going bad. Gave me choice of installing new hard drive or replacing computer. I knew time for complete replacement was here. They asked what I use computer for, then showed me 2-year-old desktops that were off-lease and refurbished. They also offer new computers that they configure. Helped me select the new computer model with 2-year warranty and the capabilities for what I do (word processing, Email, Facebook, storing photos, Internet searches, using TurboTax, Quicken, etc.) Had I been shopping without their guidance and expertise, I would have wasted money on features and hardware beyond my true needs. Plus, as a customer I now have access to their tech support and local service.
