+ -1 moreHe was spectacular. He came in on his first call and took pictures, measurements, then went back and made the cabinets. The snow slowed him up a little but came back on a Saturday to finish and did a great job of matching the cabinets and a door. He was remarkable, extremely good and I would recommend him. If I was building a house I would use him-- that's how well he did. He came on Saturday with everything he needed and was very professional (no extra charge for the Saturday either). He is the president of the company and did all the initial work himself and cleaned up everything.
Description of Work: He built a cabinet door and shelves for me.

+ 0 moreThe stair that he built is gorgeous. He stained solid wood to match. We had hardwood floor laid in the family room. I took him a sample of it, and I told him I wanted to match that color. He matched it exactly. He did excellent work. He cleaned up behind himself. He was on time for the appointments. I was so pleased with him.
Description of Work: I used Gorrell Woodworking. I have a Funkins family room, and I did not like the stairs that the house came with going from the kitchen to the front and family room. He built me a stair. He finished up the job in the second week of this month.

His experience and attention to detail were evident. He also provided me with a website to check for some parts I might need for an unrelated project. I appreciated his advice.
Description of Work: John Gorrell has given me estimates and design ideas for transforming a bedroom into a home office through built-in cabinets and book cases. His work is beautiful and I have no doubt that he would create really high quality woodwork in my home. We have not yet selected a contractor for the project, but his ideas and his computerized 3-d drawings are great.
