Steve Mosley Tree Service

Met the 2 main guys on Monday for an estimate to remove some of our trees in the backyard. They suggested some more trees due to decay. Total trees to be removed was 3. I asked that they leave my small walnut tree next to one they intended to cut and they said they had no intention of removing my small walnut tree. They said they would arrive the very next morning to begin the job and be finished around 2pm. We agreed to have them come back out the next morning. The men told us they would have to remove a small section of our fence to be able to get their equipment in. We had no problem with them removing part of the fence because they stated it would be very easy to put it back. They agreed to haul off all of the wood they cut and offered to level all our remaining trees for an extra small fee. We knew the price was good, so we agreed. The next day my husband made a special trip home during his lunch to write a check for the services and noticed our neighbor asking them for their services as well. I arrived home from work around 5:30 and heard a loud noise in my backyard. I looked out the window to see the men still in the backyard and our fence still in pieces. It turns out that mosley's actually stopped work in my yard (job already paid for) to work for my neighbor...very unprofessional! I looked back out the window several minutes later to see the men struggling with putting our fence back together. One of the men was actually throwing tools in his frustration! It was raining and dark soon after, so I was unable to go in the backyard to see what was completed until the next day. When I finally saw the work, I noticed that they cut down my walnut tree! Not only that, but instead of just the 3 trees we agreed upon they took a total of 5! I went out yesterday to see how my new azalea was doing and realized that mosley tree service completely killed it! I cannot even tell where it was planted because it was next to the section of fence they had to remove. I surveyed the fence and noticed they did a terrible job of putting it back together with nails sticking out and a bow in the fence. I am now going to have to call my fence guy out to repair the damage they did. I have even tried a couple of times to contact mosley with no luck. I do not recommend mosley tree to anyone unless you plan on watching them the whole time.

The work went very well. All the trees that I had were not pine trees. There was one tree that was salvageable as wood for my fireplace. They cut it up for me but did not stack it. They cut the other trees up and took them away. The cleanup went very well. They also removed a felled dead tree for me. We had just bought the house. One of the trees had fallen off to another property and we had to have it removed. Their price was excellent. I plan to call them again.
