A little bit of language issue but they did an excellent job. Very clean and thorough. Will use again

* The owner, Daniel, provided a detailed, timely, and fair quote. * Daniel was knowledgeable, experienced, prompt, and courteous. Daniel was not present when the work was performed. * The price was reasonable based on the size of the primary 2 trees, the fact that they had to be climbed and pieced down, and the need to preserve the newly installed sod. * The crew had the right equipment to do the entire job: multiple trucks, a large branch chipper, a dingo to carry the heavy timber, ample ropes, saws, etc. * The crew was professional and worked well together. The few that I spoke to all spoke at least conversational English. * Overall attention to detail was displayed. My newly installed sod was protected from the bulk of the activity. However, there was an occasional lapse of concentration that led to no less than 9 remaining trees (including the trunks of 4 old growth dogwoods) to become severely scarred (large chunks of bark torn off at the base). I understand that some things can't be avoided, but the damage occurred due to logs bouncing off of each other (could have been avoided if the landing area was cleared more frequently). The damage also occurred because the dingo driver bumped into trees while removing the heavy timber (this could have been totally avoided by being more attentive). * There was an effort to clean the work site, driveway, and street in front of the house after the job was done, but it is by no stretch of the imagination close to how it was found. I had to go behind them and clean the dirt, rocks, and stray chipped wood from the street, yard, driveway, and area where the trees were removed. * The Angie's List coupon was not accepted, although I did not mention it until after signing the quote. Make your own conclusions. * All in all, they did what they came to do and had workers and equipment to do it well. The primary reason I cannot give all "Excellent" marks is because of the significant collateral damage to surrounding trees and the uninspiring clean-up.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I read the fine print and it was 8 hours for 1 day. I ended up spending $400 for 2 guys for 4 hours. He originally tried to sell me an additional $500-600 on some stuff. They were here for 4 hours, they were pretty solid, they were pretty good in 4 hours.

That Big Deal turned out really well! He was here, in and out, and I was very happy with them! He dealt with squirrels that were in there, and he was able to get them removed from the gutters without hurting them or anything. He was very humane with them and the gutters are clean!

I recently bought a coupon for 8 hours of yard service from DP and General Yard Service. They came out gave me an estimate, then came out with 2 guys were here for 3 hours. That translates to 6 hours of work from the coupon. They only blew off the roof, cut and edged the yard. Then I was charge $75.00 extra to pull some bushes in the front yard. When I went to go ask about the last 2 hours and more work, the owner told me that the coupon was just to get them out here and that they lose money etc... I am pretty p***** about this and they even handed me a bill of how much everything cost. I had other things on my list for them to do that never got done. Plus the owner spent a good chunk of the time on his phone while i was working from inside the house i could see him chatting.

Great!! We were very happy with the work.

I didn't like anything about this service provider. This deal is being refunded to me as the service provider told me, without even looking at my home, that they would not honor the deal for $99.

DP called me back immediately and was at my house the next day to give me a quote. I needed tree limbs cut back from lines and hanging over my driveway. Job was started and completed 2 days later. Clean and clear.

It was great. They arrived on time, they did their work, it was expedient and I was happy with it.

Great. I would look for them again.

As you can tell from my description, I was very displeased with the entire experience. I will say everyone was nice and professional, but it's not good business form to not honor your estimate.

Out of desperation we agreed to let him do the job for $475. The two men arrived at 2p.m. the following day. We advised them we wanted the weeds DUG UP so they wouldn't just come right back up. We had a lawn service here during the time they were here to discuss the rest of our yard with them. We agreed to have them spray, etc and do the spring treatment. We were outside talking to the representative while the workers were in the IVy bed. We kept an eye on them and noted several times that they were just standing, leaning on their shovels and talking to each other...basically wasting time. At 6p.m. they came to the door and said they were finished (the one of the two that we were able to communicate with due to language barrier). He told us that Daniel had told them to leave at 6p.m. to go straight to another job. We walked out and noted that they HAD NOT dug up all the weeds. The man held up four fingers and told us 4 hours (although Daniel had told us it would be a two day job if need be). We immediately called Daniel, the owner. I was very upset but did give the man the check for $475 and told him we would take this up with Daniel. Daniel laughed that I paid that much. He said they could have done it in 3 hours (although they didn't remove all the weeds in 4 hours with the multiple breaks they took). I told Daniel that we would be reporting this issue to Angie's list but he just laughed again and hung up on me. This was the rudest company we have ever worked with. Daniel had told us on his initial visit that he did not make all the final decisions, that he was just selling the jobs and denied being the owner. We did find out that he is indeed the owner. Also the men were asked if they had received poison ivy shots and one of them laughed that Daniel had said they got shots and said they received NO SHOTS. We have many weeds left in our English Ivy bed...many of them 2 feet tall. We want our money back!!!!

Prompt, cleaned up after and pleasant Customer Service. Will definitely use again!!

I initally called on Friday 4/12/13 and spoke to Daniel. He told me that he would be at my house between 7-12 on Saturday. He did not show up until 1:45. I did not receive a phone call stating that he would be late. However, when he did come out, Daniel was very organized with his paperwork and gave me an estimate in writing while he was there. I tried to explain some other things that I wanted done but I was not sure that he was clear on my needs. After reviewing the documents, my husband asked me to call Daniel back out and get the full estimate on the remaining projects that we had. He told me on Monday, that he would be at my house between 7-12 on Tuesday morning. My husband took a couple of hours off of work to wait for him. Around 9:30, my husband called Daniel and asked how long until he would be at our home. He told us "A couple of minutes, I am on my way. I'm in Atlanta." Atlanta is an hour away. At 12:43, I called him back. He told me that he was on another job and he would come to my house at night. That would not work for us. He then said "Ok! I will be at your house between 7:30-8:00 tomorrow morning. I PROMISE!" I explained that if he was not here this morning, he was not going to get out buisness. He said "I PROMISE! I will be there!" At 8:16 I called and he did not know who I was or where my house was. When I reminded him, he said "I am stuck in traffic in Mableton! I am on my way!" I ended the conversation with, "I was going to hire you to do our yard but I am no longer interested in utilizing your services. Please do not come out to my home!" I am very disappointed that we were interested in doing a large project with him but he did not value my time or respect us enough to have a grasp on his clients.

Overall well done, I suppose, they got the trees down which was the primary objective. Otherwise transferring the tree parts from back to front did not go so well, very careless and disrespectful.

They did an excellent job, they always do this is no the first time that they have done work for my wife and I. They moved her bird feeders out of they was so that they would not be damaged, Before they dug up the flowers that were near the tree and they replanted them when they were finished so they wouldnt crush them. They always take very good care not to damage anything. I will have them back out to the house next time I need some work done.

The owner came out ahead of time and gave a very detailed estimate of the work scope which was nice rather than a lump sum quote. He supplied all of his insurance documents and other relevant sales information. Guys were very professional not needing any supervision. A crew showed up roughly at 8:30 am ready for work and spent a full day working steadily. They did have bilingual workers present who asked for my direction at times when necessary. Overall it was a great experience, only reason I am not giving them all "A"s across the board is the Big Deal pricing of $299 for 8 hours of work is a little misleading, however any confusion is made up by their outstanding service.

I called them and told them that I purchased the deal and the owner said he didn't even know about the deal - he said that they normally charge a lot more for gutter cleaning. He said he would get in touch with Angie's List and see what's going on because, again, he said he charges more than $99 for gutter cleaning. After about an hour, he called back and said that he would come out on 3/5/2013 to look at the house and see if he could do it for $99. He I didn't have to be home and he would leave the estimate in the mailbox. I told him that if it was going to be more than the $99 I already spent for the deal, I didn't want the service. He and another person came out on 3/5/2013 and, while he sat in the truck, the other guy came to the door. I said hello - he said he needed the Angie's List receipt. I went and printed it out, came back and gave it to him. He said they would get started - and they did. About fifteen minutes later, I looked out the window and they were gone. They didn't even say goodbye or anything. When I went to inspect their work, I saw that the outside of my house was a complete mess and all of the gutter drains were full of debris. I felt an air of reluctance and inconvenience with every contact I had with them and with the quality of work performed by them - very unprofessional. I will never use them again and I certainly would not recommend them to anyone.

I called in the morning and they came out that very afternoon. The men were courteous. The price was the same as agreed on the phone

Called DP for an estimate on removing a portion of a tree that had come down in a storm. He gave me a price of $200 over the phone and stated he could be out the next day. They came out the next day and had the tree and yard cleaned up in less than 20 minutes! They also gave me suggestions on how to care for the Bradford Pear trees in my front yard. They were polite and professional, and I would definitely use them again for any tree, gutter or landscaping needs. They also accepted my 10% off coupon that I got from Angie's list.

Daniel came out and looked over the work that was to be done, making a few suggestions along the way and was available within a couple of days of the written quote. His crew came out and quickly did the job and did a great cleanup when finished.

Great! The yard was transformed and the employees worked diligently to get the job done.

not well. The initial phone call was professional and pleasnt but I didn't like how the representative spoke to my husband and blamed us for giving them the wrong information.

The guys were prompt and professional. I had an estimate done on 5/21/11 and was estimated at $6,600.00 and within four months the price was as above. I had other estimates, but they were more expensive. The price was expensive, but I was very pleased with the job because I had very large trees on a small lot, with many, many leaves and acorns during the fall, and I am no longer able to remove them or/and have them removed. I am very pleased and happy this is finally done. The workers never stopped until the work was done, even the owner, Daniel, was there working right along with the other employees.

This was an efficient and professional service to use. They returned my call within a few hours and were onsite and provided an estimate the same day. They provided professional documentation: insurance etc... at the time of the estimate. They were open to reasonable negotiation on the price. Work was performed as scheduled and was performed well. This required them to drive a small CAT over my lawn and they managed to NOT do any damage even though the ground was very wet. My only comment (not a complaint) was they arrive very early, about 5 hours, before they said to expect them without giving me a call.
