Color-Faux-Walls

Sheetrock repair went mostly well. After the first round of repairs, we noticed a number of spots were missed around some can lights and switches. The spots around the cans were fixed on a follow up visit but the spots near the switches were not. The spots that were fixed blend flawlessly into the existing Sheetrock. We did notice after the fact that cleanup of the dust from sanding was poorly executed. None of the pendant fixtures were dusted after the work was complete - I had to dust and/or vacuum myself. Painting was decent, but sub-par compared to the quality I've seen from other painting contractors I've hired for similar rates. For starters, I provided painters tape for clean lines, but the painting contractor chose to free hand all the cut-ins and the lines were sloppy in some areas and I've had to touch up myself. We noticed lots of paint spray from the celing roller on the floors/countertops,etc. we also noted blue paint drips on our white love seat. I had to walk the entire job multiple times and point out "misses" -- spots where the roller didn't cover, spots where the paint dripped or sprayed (ceiling to wall), and almost half a room where there wasn't a cut-in around the celing (which was painfully obvious as the old color was different than the new). I also noticed paint on a few of the brand new recessed light baffles (which is annoying as they pull down from the celing). Overall, Sheetrock repair was good (not stellar), painting got the job mostly done, but the experience left me feeling like I paid to get a project completed but with the touch ups that need done I still can't cross it off my list.

He was there each day when he said he would be and put in a full days work.The quality and price of his work was excellent. We have very high ceilings and a large number windows and his attention to detail was much appreciated. He even added did a few extra things that we had missed at no charge.
